Not over the short distances. It is ridiculous for a man of that height to be able to accelerate in the way that he does, freak of nature/science that he is. Or (cough) applied science, do you not think? This is a tangent, but I think the recent success of all the Jamaicans is due to them catching up the US when it comes to steroids. I just hope we can catch up next. I thought your lot were going the ladyboy route?
  2. As long as we're sold by then I would LOVE that to happen.
  3. This worries me. How will he fund the day to day running of the club, and how much would we have to invest in new players? It's all a ruse... pretending to have no money so Ashley will accept a lower offer. He's secretly loaded
  4. Should have been 3 or 4 goals to nil for Palermo tonight. They created loads on the counter attack. It's just a shame they weren't more clinical with their finishing.
  5. That's pretty much it. In the games I've seen he tends to get fed the ball into his feet and is instantly swamped by players - nowhere to go. He's not bad when he's got some space but he's having to work harder in order to find it.
  6. Forgive my relevant ignorance of Serie A but basically, isn't it just Inter vs Juve for the title? And even then, Inter are strong favourites. What other results have worked in your favour? Are Sampdoria serious contenders? Not really serious contenders. Milan are going to come nowhere near this season. Genoa could potentially push Inter but it's unlikely. Roma are a spent force. It IS more or less Inter vs. Juve with both teams looking drastically different to last season. It'll be about who can gel the quickest.
  7. Camoranesi lucky to still be on the pitch. Already been yellow carded and brought down a Palermo player. ...aaaaaand they score from the freekick. Simplicio. Camoranesi getting sent off wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. He's been gash so far. Terrible in the tackle, struggling to get accurate crosses in, giving the ball away needlessly. 2-0 and they've not really got anything to complain about. Only really Zebina and Diego playing well.
  8. Very good finish. And you have to say: it was coming. 1-0 Palermo.
  9. Palermo vs. Juventus kicked off. Palermo 46 Salvatore Sirigu (G) 5 Cesare Bovo (CD) 8 Giulio Migliaccio (CD-L) 24 Simon Kjaer (CD-R) 23 Mark Bresciano (CM-L) 30 Fabio Simplicio (CM-R) 6 Javier Pastore (AM) 42 Federico Balzaretti (LM) 16 Mattia Cassani (RM) 7 Edison Cavani (CF-L) 10 Fabrizio Miccoli (CF-R) 88 Manuele Blasi (SUB) 20 Igor Budan (SUB) 3 Dorin Goian (SUB) 83 Rubinho (SUB) 9 Antonio Nocerino (SUB) 99 Levan Mchedlidze (SUB) 14 Nicolàs Bertolo (SUB) Juve 1 Gianluigi Buffon (G) 3 Giorgio Chiellini (CD-L) 33 Nicola Legrottaglie (CD-R) 6 Fabio Grosso (LB) 15 Jonathan Zebina (RB) 4 Felipe Melo (LM) 18 Christian Poulsen (RM) 11 Carvalho De Oliveira Amauri (ST) 28 Diego (RCF) 9 Vincenzo Iaquinta (AM-L) 16 Mauro German Camoranesi (AM-R) 5 Fabio Cannavaro (SUB) 13 Alexander Manninger (SUB) 17 David Trezeguet (SUB) 21 Zdenek Grygera (SUB) 19 Christian Molinaro (SUB) 20 Sebastian Giovinco (SUB) 39 Luca Marrone (SUB)
  10. Atalanta 1 - 1 Milan Ronaldinho. Nesta chips the ball over the defence. Ronaldinho runs in behind, takes the ball calmly on his chest, then knocks it beyond the keeper from 10 yards out. It has been mostly Milan in the second half but they have been really unimpressive - particularly Ronaldinho - but it does only take one moment of quality.
  11. Roma 2 - 1 Totti again. Pin-point shot from the edge of the area, along the ground, finds the bottom corner. He's now down receiving treatment. Must be fighting with the wife. He's scored twice but both Totti and Ilary Blassi have faces like a smacked arse.
  12. Sampdoria denied a cast iron penalty. Cassano makes a fool of the Parma defence and gets to the by-line. He squares it to Pazzini (I think). The defenders are running back towards their own goal and take Pazzini out from behind, never touching the ball, and the ref waves it away.
  13. Yesterday: Bari 0 - 0 Catania Inter 2 -1 Udinese Playing now. Half Time scores: Cagliari 1 - 1 Chievo Verona 1st half: Cagliari scored first (Matri). 3 minutes later Chievo equalised. Nothing else to write about in this match. Chievo's goal was decent. Scored from about 30 yards out on the volley. Keeper got a hand to it but palmed it into the roof of the net. Could have done better. Atalanta 1 - 0 AC Milan 1st half: Atalanta ahead - nice finish after some scrappy Milan defending. Since the goal Milan have pressured Atalanta but look toothless in the final third. Huntelaar went down in the box at one point but the ref correctly ignored it. Atalanta have had a man sent off rather harshly. Radovanovic picked up a second yellow card for shirt pulling. Siena 0 - 0 Livorno 1st half: Livorno down to 10 men. Nothing to write home about yet. Roma 1 - 1 Napoli 1st half: Napoli went ahead first through Lavezzi. Really scrappy goal. Trickled through a crowd of players and went under the "diving" keeper. The keeper really should have done better. The shot was right next to him he just didn't get down quick enough. Totti equalised shortly after. Didn't catch the goal but both sides seem as bad as each other at the moment. Fiorentina 0 - 0 Lazio 1st half: Even game so far. Fiorentina the slightly better side. Lazio looking to stifle the game. Sampdoria 1 - 1 Parma 1st half: Sampdoria the strong of the two sides. Pazzini scored first with a good head after peeling away from the Parma defence. Parma equalised through a well-worked team goal. Bologna 0 - 2 Genoa 1st half: Genoa a bit shaky at the back but are simply too strong going forward. Two goals in quick succession just before half time. 19:45 KO: Palermo vs. Juventus
  14. Battlers vs. Bottlers But Milan's quality should get them the win. HA! Doubt it 1 - 0 Atalanta
  15. The word on the street is that they were Walls sausages. This seems to be confirmed by shares in the Kerry Group going up 5 points on Friday afternoon.
  16. Ahhhh, hope. Such a bitch isn't she?

    Can we?

If NUSC let Dave edit their press releases (errrr, stuff on their website. Does that count?) then I might get on board. At the moment they're just a joke of group.
