Paris in the fall, the last months of the year, at the end of the millenium. The city holds many memories for me, of cafes, of music, of love, and of death. -
I didn't realise it was that bad at Bayern, then again I pay little to no attention to any football outside England. Got nothing against Man City personally, one of my very close mates is a massive City fan but for the sake of the competition I hope you're right and they do drop off.
-
You think the drop off will be that big? Surely not, your academy will be producing all sorts for years to come and I can't see your rep dropping significantly to the point you'll be unable to attract the world's best.
-
As a fan I would find it very difficult to get too attached to any new signings. Imagine bringing in someone like Tonali and thinking he could only be here for a season or two. Can't wait to see what happens to Man City post Pep, the gap to the other 19 surely narrows.

And you win a few medals along the way.
-
What a child you are. I bet your expectations are exactly the same as each other

We'd finish third imo. -
Wasn't that a pokemon?

Give Allison a shout mate, tell him he should have done better in the 0.2 seconds he had to react. He's nearly at full stretch when he saves it ffs

I think there'll be plenty reading your posts in this thread who think you're the one who needs their head checked. EH has done a fantastic job for us over the last two years, dragging us out of the relegation zone to become competitors at the other end of the division. It's going to be a few more years before our squad is capable of competing with the likes of Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal etc over the course of a season. Last season we were great, playing out of our skins for large periods - that is not sustainable over multiple seasons, hence people talking about the likes of Mourinho (in his prime) having 3 year cycles at clubs.
-
We're better than both of these
-
What the absolute fuck
-
Yanga-Mbiwa had one of the worst performances I've ever seen in a Newcastle shirt at home to Everton I think it was. Awful player for us.

Sels Jesus Gamez

The new Choupo-Moting

Southampton?! That's an incredible move for him

Used to live up the hill towards Waldridge for a few years. I saw us draw 0-0 away to Portsmouth a few years ago in a bar on Front Street that was full to the brim with Newcastle fans. Always felt very 50/50 to me in the mid 00's anyway.
-
He's going to be an excellent PL squad player for the next 10 years.

Are we potentially one of the very few clubs that are going to be untouchable for any Saudi transfer? Was just thinking of the possibility of Bruno disappearing any time soon. Guessing it would be on our terms, right?
-
We're definitely not winning the Super Cup next season, that's for sure.
-
I'll believe it when I see it. However, he has looked more disinterested and somewhat annoyed at times already this season. Given they wouldn't be able to replace him with anyone as effective it would crush the team if he disappeared. Could see Klopp going mid-season or at the end if it doesn't go too well for them.
-
Must be a mag on the wind up. Again.
-
The good thing is we're set up well for the next few years, with one or two exceptions. It's also going to be a lot easier to convince players to join us now we've made the signings we have. Moving forward I can't imagine many players (certainly not the likes of Lucas Digne) turning us down.
