Anyone called Hope out on Trippier's "illness"?

Sounds like there's a story to be told there...

It's little things like that with him that are the difference between being good enough or not good enough. The pass to Tino when he was obviously miles offside (because Murphy didn't play the ball quickly enough), miskicking the ball out for a goal kick when he's got half a yard on Robertson down the wing, his failure to even challenge Robertson when he spooned the ball straight in the air on the edge of his own 6 yard box after Gordon's deflected shot...very frustrating. He has a hammer of a right foot though, some pretty decent hits from distance and was unlucky with the one that hit the post.

We were set up very well last night though, my only gripe was that our right didn't seem to be working, possibly due to Tino and Murphy not playing together regularly, I don't know but it felt like everything was going through Gordon on the other side. Loved that we managed some goals from play through the centre.

The lad next to me said exactly this last night. You could see we had nowt left in the tank and nobody was even warming up.

Didn't hear them once in the Gallowgate outside of goal celebrations I knew people would be kicking off about the atmosphere but there was little wrong with it last night, at one point it reminded me of the PSG game. Currently rewatching the game and in person it was nothing like what it sounded like on Amazon Prime.

Just not sure why we'd even entertain a sale, he's a great squad player and an occasional match winner. If we're talking less than 30 million it's just a bit pointless imo.

Thought he was good throughout. So glad he's resorted to throwing the ball a bit more, someone's definitely had a word there and they've done a great job.

Mac Allister was unlucky with his yellow as well, not sure many ref's give that tbh.

How was what I said going over the top though, all I said was the bloke's shite, in other words not good enough. I even said I quite like him as a person (as I think he comes across well and he seems to put in a lot of effort). We've had worse players than him, he wasn't that bad tonight but he's nowhere near good enough for where we want to be.

He kept missing Salah nudging Lewis Hall when they were jostling for position. Normally I'd be okay with them as he's just stronger but Salah was looking at Hall and not the ball a few times, Hall was nudged off balance and gave the ball away. They were fouls that ended up leading to some pretty hairy moments.

Because I think he's a very poor footballer. We're allowed to have different opinions, it's what makes life great. If you want me to be all grown up about it, I think his positional play is absolutely shocking, he comes inside too often so when Tino receives the ball at full back he has nowhere to go because Lord Jacob has wandered in-between two or three Liverpool players. He did that several times tonight and he's done it a shit load throughout the season. Like what Ian said there's a semi-decent player in there somewhere but we'll never see it regularly because he hasn't got what it takes. We'll see a decent game from him once or twice a season. He's Obertan.

He's very suited to the Premier League. Happy to put himself about and very comfortable on the ball. Looking forward to seeing more of him now he's surely nailed a place in the starting 11.

He's shite, relative to the rest of the players in other teams starting 11's. Nobody else in the PL is taking him off our hands, ever. We probably couldn't give him away for free.

He's shite, but we knew that ages ago. It's a mystery how he's still starting for us yet we've got too many players in other positions. I don't dislike him, just wish he'd leave.

We couldn't believe that. Even those leaving with 3/4 mins to go.

Good thing is those teams will not want to play us after watching that. It may change their approach. I just wish we'd go to these places and try and smother them like we did tonight.

I need a day off work after that.
