  1. Players not allowed to win things or do well before they signed for Liverpool like
  2. And they slotted into a team of elite winners...
  3. He played 26 minutes of that season... 28 appearances the season before when they finished 15th and stayed up comfortably
  4. Dibling, Fernandes and Ramsdale (as backup) are the only ones I'd take from Southampton. Hermansen from Leicester (again as backup) and Delap from Ipswich. I really don't like the idea of signing players who are too used to losing.
  5. I don't think this is necessarily the case, there's been a fair bit of noise around several signings we've made and then the Khusanov one, everyone knows we wanted him for a while and he chose Man City. If we sign Trafford in the summer that'll be another that we've publicly courted for what will feel like 18 months.
  6. Steve Nickson has done a great job for us overall.
  7. Solid D with potential to become a B. Really looking forward to seeing him integrate more and more.
  8. Huijsen would be class. Surely there's someone out there on the continent cheaper than him with roughly the same profile though. We should ask Bournemouth who they'd replace Huijsen with, save them the hassle
  9. Aye great manager but I doubt Villa fans would even contemplate swapping him for Howe. Emery saying no to us was a massive win/win.
  10. What on earth has gone on there then
  11. He was class, from what I can remember. Going to need to rewatch the match for some sort of confirmation but I can't remember Salah doing a great deal.
  12. Huh, strange. Man City signed loads of players in January and are now unbeatable.
  13. We held a Manchester Day at our club and the police advised us to hire doormen. Made a fortune that day
  14. I'm catching the 11am from P'boro tomorrow, guessing it's going to be bouncing
  15. DM on here if you decide to do that and want a ticket
  16. Had a purple patch when he first got here, then was a bit meh, then got injured then came back and was good, got injured again and now can't trap a bag of cement. Or something like that. I guess he "just needs a run of games" or some bollocks.
  17. Where are you woke fuckers hoping to sit in the new ground anyway? We replicating the corner or creating a yellow wall type thing?
  18. Yes, hadn't thought of this

Yep, I know what you mean, there is no way Liverpool sign a Curtis Jones type player from another club. Same way we don't ever sign Sean Longstaff, Shola Ameobi, Paul Dummett etc He's the definition of 'neat and tidy', which every side needs imo. His passing stats are really good, he's a possession recycler and occasional goal contributor. Not sure what's not to like when those types are home grown.

I'm with you, sort of, but Jones has played 1170 minutes across 24 appearances for the team who are absolutely walking the league. He clearly does something right.
  21. Ha, I just quickly googled "time in Tokyo" before making that post
