NUFC kits & merchandise: home kit launches May 29th (Official)

It's a lot like Northumberland Tartan (https://www.northumberlandtartan.co.uk) which I love. I think it looks far better - as always - on the players than it does on dodgy hangers in a manky storeroom, or on DHGate mockups based on guesses. -

Bet there's a manky white patch crest on the fans version though. -
It's only there cos it's on the city crest though, not like they've grabbed that from nowhere and chucked it on the club crest for a laugh.

I think people need to disregard that thing, it's not gonna be that, it almost certainly never was an option, and was probably someone dicking around and never for public consumption, and some dickhead has broken some confidences somewhere to throw it into the public realm.
-
Considering they've just announced only that they're going to discuss it, they don't have a decision on a new one yet, the new kits will have already been mass-produced in their thousands and some are already in retailers' stockrooms...I'm gonna say no

Iconic moments aren't paid for by their sponsors Google, and setup by one of their social media staff sat at the side of the pitch with the mobile phone ready to hand to them.

Wouldn't be shocked if that's the new kit template style, seems to match up. -
Maybe the Community Shield as well if you count that?
-
Yeah that's why the three promoted teams are gonna get relegated with the lowest cumulative total of points in PL history. The gap is so small.
-
I thought green with envy window was Fletcher and Adam Johnson?

I'm guessing they've offered a full refund, or 50% refund to keep it as it is, because they don't have any more in stock. -

The Sam Fender line hit me personally - absolutely perfect @Heron. You lads are an absolute credit to the club, the city - and yourselves. -

League Cup Trophy Celebration: Saturday 29th March

What a mint day. -
Well ditto, but the hive mind of the forum might give us a decent view of where we see our competitors? It could be that actually even though we've ranked our squad as reasonably low, and we look at it on the face of it as being a squad in need or refresh, the clubs around us may be ranked similarly and we're not an outlier.
-
I'd love to see this same exercise done for some other teams around us, to see where the squads sit in terms of numbers of each rating. Would be a very interesting brain and statistics exercise.
-
Maybe more the massive delay in approvals put them off tbf.

Nobody is 'worried' about the xG battle though. It's just something that can put a statistical twist on what you saw with your eyes. Someone can look poorly, you can see they're not very well and feel hot, but if you took them to the doctor and the doctor took their temperature and said 'yep, they're too fucking hot, they have a temperature higher than the norm', you wouldn't call him a stats nonce, or whatever. They're backing up what you can see with the evidence to prove it. xG doesn't change anything or make the game any different. It's just another statistic that can help paint a picture of where a team is succeeding or failing. Score more than your xG? You probably have a striker who is fucking lethal. Score fewer than your xG? Your striker can't hit a barn door. People have always been able to see this with their eyes, now there's a statistic to show it. What's the issue?
-
It's a statistic that backs up what you saw with numbers. Does shots, shots on target or possession also piss you off?

Is 'Leazers' some sort of running forum joke that I've missed or do we have that many people on here who don't know what it's called?

Magnificent tonight. I fucking love this guy and always will.
