Brighton often play good. They sometimes play bad. We often play good. We sometimes play bad. Anything can happen. Have a few beers, sing your heart out if you’re at SJP and let’s see what happens. Nee need to fret.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
bowlingcrofty replied to Rich's topic in Football
Would go to GD. -
He’s definitely got the feel of “har har what a waste of money” player who in a year under Howe becomes a “should he be in the Euros squad?” player. Yes we’ve paid a lot of money for him but we’ve paid for his potential. He needs a fair bit of refining, but fortunately we’ve got one of the best around to do that. Worst case scenario we flog him to West Ham for £25m in a couple of years.

Comes across as a good bloke and someone who has respect because of his attitude. Always thought he was intelligent but listening to the podcast I now think it’s all a bit superficial. Every time he was pressed for more detail he struggled to give it and kept repeating himself.

Having all four semi finals on at the same time is annoying.

Michael Oliver doing the Roma game and wearing a camera it seems. Edit: he’s taken it off now. Bit odd.

Spurs apparently may not be taking up their option on Kulusevski. Seems an odd one but for €35m he’d be a decent option.

Not sure if serious.

Better, faster, stronger.

Good luck with that one Barca.

An iconic day in our calendar, when tens of thousands of people will be at St James’ Park. It almost makes some sort of sense. What is this sorcery?

Probably a general sale again. Hopefully they’ll have a renewal period first but doubt it.

Could do with Villa beating Spurs this weekend so they’d go to Anfield knowing a result would give them a damn good chance of EL qualification. -
Leeds United vs. Newcastle United: 13/05/23 @ 12:30 (BT Sport)

With today’s results this has become even more “must win” for Leeds. A draw doesn’t do them any good at all. First goal is huge. -
How is that not a pen? Looked at him and ran as fast as he could into him
-
Hopefully Brighton take a tonking at Arsenal as well and come to SJP flat as a pancake.

Gut feeling is it’ll be the Joe/Jow combo on the left and Longstaff will make it. Pope, Tripps, Schar, Botman, Burn, Longstaff, Bruno, Willock, Joelinton, Murphy, Isak. Then Miggy, Wilson, Gordon available off the bench -

White socks and a V neck shirt apparently. Away kit similar to this year. Saudi shirt similar with colours reversed.
