As it happens, both spellings of howay and haway used to be used by our fans. A couple of pics from the FA Cup final in 1974 and the 1976 League Cup Final... http://www.themag.co.uk/assets/Newcastle_United_Fans_NUFC_03.jpg It only settled on the current spelling in the late 80s, I believe.

In Southampton’s next 7 games they have Arsenal, Man United, Spurs and Liverpool. If those teams don’t resort to shithouse levels of performances then hopefully we can move a few points ahead of them before they come to SJP in early April. Similarly, Cardiff have Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Man United in their last seven games, so from their point of view their next couple are massive, at home to Watford and Everton - two teams prone to a shithouse performance and a 1-0 loss.

I imagine Ritchie will start and Barecca’s first start will come in one of the two home games afterwards
