It would be nice just to see some actual concrete interest in some players coming into the club, it's been over a month since the end of the season and as usual we don't seem to have made any progress! If we can keep him and Jonas fit, we look a completely different team! When we use the wings and the full backs overlap, we look really dangerous, but when we play through the centre (mainly away from home), we look clueless. Only thing that frustrated me about Routledge yesterday was the amount of times he slipped over! Players usually have multiple pairs of boots to suit the conditions, so I was surprised he didn't change his during the game.

I think in the last few games Guthrie has proven he's better in the centre than out wide, so why would Hughton change it to accomodate Smith when, as people have said, we have Raylor and Pancake on the bench. It's the kind of tactical decision that could cost us a game.
