One area where I think most of us can be agreed is that the relationship between Keegan and Ashley is shot beyond repair. Doomed from the start, in fact. you know i ain't so sure on that, I think the main contention was the relationship between kk and llambias and obviously wise not so much between kk and ashley, the reason it will never happen is because keegan would want a budget ashley is unwilling/unable to meet

What claims are those? That in my opinion Ashley isn't losing money hand over fist at NUFC? As I have stated before I don't work at the club so cannot prove anything, guess we will just have to wait until the next accounts, although from reading the last accounts we had 23 milliion debt, turnover at 99 million and wages at 70 million. Now wages are about 30 million? and whilst turnover will no doubt have dropped I am pretty sure the club will make a profit (IMO). We where in financial poop but I (my opinion again) don't think we are anymore. there is absolutely no way the club is making a profit and wages are more likely at 40m plus with projected income at 50-60m at most

Just sit back obviously. Just f*** off and stop putting words in my mouth. I'll quite happily eat humble pie if these 'protests' work, but I'm confident they won't. Not putting words in anybodys mouth. And why are you still thinking it's a protest? This envolves no banners and no chants, just don't turn up. Oh sorry, I must have missed the bit where I said we should sit back and do nothing. Of course it's a protest. You're not there in opposition of Ashley - you're protesting against him. A protest isn't just a march/leaflet campaign. Every action or boycott against him is a form of protest. How is Ashley going to know it's a protest if people just don't turn up? lol Ashley knows only money, and as soon as he thinks he's going to have to dip into his pockets again to cover the running costs he'll take the first offer on the table. But as we're covering the cost of the wages with turning up, he couldn't give a toss. what offer, time for a reality check there ain't anyone who is able to interested in buying the club and even if someone was an empty stadium ain't going to encourage a bid is it?

We haven't got a paper thin squad at this level. FFS Harewood, Lovenkrands and Butt were on the bench and they are probably on far higher wages than the players who have been out-playing us for the last few games. What does that say about the players picked as first choice? we do have a paper thin squad, only one proper winger 1 left back and 3 cbs. Beyond our first 11 barring in the centre of midfield where we actually have cover we're relying on players out of position or completely unproven young players

im a lucky charm i log on and we score
-
wingers left back and a cb would do me, if we were actually spending that is

Geremi is who I would have started and nolan does his best work nearer the front than in cm in a 442. Good line up if you ask me. Give him a chance ffs
-
that was brilliant the pedersen and gerrard were spot on
-
Harper Raylor Khiz Simpson Enrique Geremi Nolan Smith Jonas Ranger Harewood Geremi on for his crossing ability and 2-0 win for us

there is something I noticed just now reading the telegraph account of it all its the phrasing of how hughton put it thats an awful lot of assumption in there
-
Was just thinking about the players response. I bet their shoulders dropped when they heard the news why? its no change from where we are now is it? Butt last week was in the chron saying hughton should get the job Generally the players seem to have gone out of their way to support Hughton being given the job full-time. They like him and will play for him. The question is if Hughton is a strong enough manager/personality to take control for himself. hes been strong enough so far and has handled the players well even barton

He's been voted best manager while playing 11 players who played in the Premiership last season and too many of those games have been less than impressive. Our weekly wage bill will be more than a lot of teams will pay for a full season. We’ve got players who will more than likely play in the next World Cup and have a realistic chance of finishing well. He’s got everything in his favour and he’s still dropped 7 points out of the last 9 and we’ve played just as badly in games we’ve won. we're never going to win every game and its foolish to think we would. Fact is we're second in the league and hughton can claim a lot of credit for that, last season there was no dressing room harmony now we do have players who are playing as a team. Who would you have in who could have done as good?
-
We'll not get promoted with Hughton as manager, I couldn't care less if that is fair or not. He's not up to the job and the games we've played so far do nothing to change my opinion of him. so not up to the job hes been voted the best manager for the last 2 months?
-
Any hope I had of us playing 1 season in this division have just evaporated. based on? hes been in full time charge so far and we're 2nd in the table. To say we're never going to get promoted with hughton in charge is utter tosh and totally unfair on hughton
