in domestic transfers yeah that will happen, foreign transfers is a different story and the major plus side of the tv deal is it dilutes the effect of the champions league money, its still an advantage but not as much of an advantage as compared to 10 years ago.

its a struggle to make sense of why in gods name he would think it a good idea to stay when he can get any number of better jobs in england or abroad, best I can come up with is since he's won leagues, cups and european trophies maybe he wants to build a club up but again there are clubs where that won't be half as difficult or have to deal with an owner where the only consistency is the stupidity

the sooner its sorted one way or another the better, we do not need a repeat of the shearer saga of last time even if it worked out for the best somehow

our more fun seasons in recent times have usually had disasters of pre seasons, losing what 6-1 to leyton orient the banana kit, and the summer before the 5th place season it seemed we were doomed to relegation

on paper it makes a lot of sense, top level manager, lives in the area so much easier on him than commuting to newcastle, plenty of talented players to work with and possible investment from the new owner. Now the Everton fans aren't exactly fond of him but then again it can't be worse than how the chelsea fans acted while he was there

who else was going to win it tbh he's one of the very few players to come out with any credit from this season
