if that actually goes through then Swansea will have officially gone insane
-
so is he replacing him or are we looking at a liverpool style co manager deal
-
thing is I might take Martinez's complaints more seriously if he wasn't the type who would say it was onside if it was everton who scored that so fuck them
-
the fuck were swansea thinking not using him based on this
-
lovely pass by Shelvey
-
kinda surprised he moved now and not in the summer though suppose he wants to try and get in the euros squad
-
good lord the guy has 0 luck

Every time Thauvin gets caught in possession McClaren looks like he's going into cardiac arrest. He's just too cautious to back such a player, he'd probably rather start with Gouffran on the left wing. Safe and will track back. Not having a go, but if that's the case, why has he never done it? He probably thinks Gouffran is a central midfielder. Lee Ryder does. So he wouldn't rather play him on the wing then? I think if he knew how Pardew used him he probably would. He seems to want Gouffran-like qualities in his wide players in tracking back. So he'd rather play gouffran there, but never has, because he thinks he's a central midfielder, but if he knew he'd ever been played as a winger before, he would. Got it. I know it sounds daft, but he's not really doing that much different to Pardew in some ways. We had Ba and Cisse playing on the left wing, now we've got Perez. Reeks of putting square pegs in round holes just to fit certain players in. we're not exactly overflowing with reliable options for the wing

Agree. Although we've got to remember the players do train every day. Fans might scream give him a chance, but if he's absolute shite in training he's never going to get in. Manager's credibility with the players would go down the pan if the lad that tarts around all week gets a game regardless Aside from the Obertan>Perez debacle like. hey for all we know Obertan could be like Messi in training

£8m. I know it doesn't make a difference with this ownership, but it's still basically £8m + Tiote for Saivet and Shelvey. I think that's pretty decent. I just don't think we should be risking anything for what although is a decent fee, isn't enough that we absolutely have to sell Tiote while better than Colback/Anita I don't think its all that big a difference tbh, its a decent price and iirc he's wanted to go for a while

probably the right time, if nothing else there will always be that strike vs Arsenal
-
hard to know what to make of this (if its true). If it does happen then its fairly obvious McClaren probably never wanted him in the first place so why in gods name was he bought.
-
they'll probably appeal it long enough to be able to sign players in the summer anyway
-
does he actually know anything about football outside of manchester united and how LVG is putting those poor long suffering man utd fans through torture?
-
that game was a lot better than it had any right to be
-
