Balotelli hauled off, odd he was actually decent
-
2-0 Milner

Looks like Taarabt has hit back at saggy chops already. Good enough to start for Milan not good enough for the QPR bench. Redknapp displaying his famous "man management" http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-boss-harry-redknapp-claims-4473879

1-0 City Aguero.

seems that stadium isn't quite empty, certainly support for CSKA in there.

Dunne has always, always, been useless. He's the Irish Titus Bramble. How he's stayed in and around the top flight for as long as he has is beyond me. Didn't he win player of the year for City about 3 years in a row? Also gave one of the best backs to the wall defensive performance of all time in Euro 2012 qualifying against Russia  It happened. Any Irish poster will tell you. It's probably on YouTube he was absolutely incredible that game but still not as good as paul mcgrath vs italy in 94.

Those lucky bastards

god help liverpool on wednesday, if that defense can't cope with Bobby Zamora how the hell is it going to be against Real Madrids attack?
-
doesn't help there is almost no protection in midfield for them.

Liverpool have been reasonably shite thus far and lucky not to be losing very very very lucky

What an absolute waste of everyone's time this game is.

what exactly has Pochettino or Martinez done to be on that list exactly?

From harry's book frightening of all the people to point out when it comes to man city buying the league he is literally the worst example, came in before the takeover (Hughes as I recall) and no one was claiming he was going to be one of the worlds best cbs when they bought him.

end of the week I think, quotes on twitter have been rather interesting but that one is the best.

How can he not put in a decent cross? Or a shot with any power? I refuse to believe that was coached out of him in a couple of months. And Riviere, your views? These two replacements for Cabaye and Remy. What a joke. Aye, this confirms it. You know nothing about modern football, or the type of player that Cabella is. I'm not saying he's been good, in fact he's been s***. However, his lack of crosses isn't even remotely the problem. Honestly, you should be embarrassed. In what way? You are now saying you don't score from wide positions? So answer the other point. Why are his shots as weak as p*ss? Do you have a couple of hundred million quid I could borrow? Why are his shots as weak as piss? Cos he's shit. Are you from Southampton originally? How is he shit like? He's a weak as piss and hasn't shown anything to suggest otherwise yet. Should have kept HBA and not signed him in my john humble. While I agree on HBA I think it's way to early to write off Cabella like I tend to agree on the too early to write off Cabella thing and tend to apply it to any foreign signing but he does need to show something anything at some stage because right now Obertan has offered more to the team in a game and a bit than Cabella has since day one.

you've got a point about football (well top level football anyway) being rather soulless but there's something rather emptier with what they've done and to a lesser extent chelsea (they had a tendency to buy expensive players anyway just with abramovich there's more of them and they don't go next to bankrupt from it now) I just can't explain why it makes me uncomfortable. In theory they're doing everything right, developing the stadium and the area around it, trying to improve their youth set up to bring players through, sensible enough ticket pricing from what I've gathered compared to other clubs near the top (ie Arsenal) and the team plays good football. It just doesn't feel right and I'd have decidedly mixed feelings if it had happened here but thats something we won't have anyway thanks to the FFP regulations and the current champions league clubs trying to bring up the drawbridge behind them to stop others kicking them out of the cozy club.

seem to have the same problems as last season (god awful defense) without the attacking ability to compensate for lack of said defense as they previously did.

bit of a major issue the building of teams considering he (unlike a lot of managers) we can be sure is deciding on who to come in and Arsenal consistently are short of the required depth. Hell look now started the season with 6 senior defenders (I think) and unsurprisingly one of them Debuchy picks up an injury. How does a club of Arsenals resources and competing on multiple fronts and expected to do well in all of them only have 6 senior defenders?
