    José Mourinho

boring football despite basically huge resources at every club except Porto, repeatedly guilty of being a complete bastard and saying some very nasty stuff. Yet the morons in the English press repeatedly laud him for it and his horrible football and clap for more.
  2. Luke Edwards ‏@LukeEdwardsTele 1m #nufc denying any truth in claims they're set to sign Johnny Heitinga from #efc. Story started when son of West Ham chairman said they were
  3. I imagine Colo leaving and possibly Taylor will be in mind. I would much prefer to put our faith in our youngsters than this guy if they both left
  4. seriously I cannot make sense of this if its true, we don't need cover at cb (because he is no improvement on what we have at all) we don't really need cover in central midfield and he's a diabolical rb from what I've seen so thats no good and I'd sooner give a go to Dummett even if they're out of position than this guy. So don't need him on the field doesn't fit with age profile and doesn't fit with wage profile
  5. Seems odd and not like us normally

    José Mourinho

I think he's a plague on football and a full representation of exactly whats wrong in the modern game in one person.
  7. don't be silly english players don't dive
  8. logic and nufc never did seem to get along
  9. for me its would be nice, would be delighted to go through but hardly end of the world if we don't. God knows what the result will be too, if OGS is in there then yeah we'll probably lose to new manager bounce anyway. Can see a fair bit of rotation for this too
  10. you can't rely on taylor though, even ignoring the injuries he's too prone to ridiculous fuck ups
  11. give willo a game off vs cardiff and go with mym and taylor

    Sunderland

certainly the ones they need to win, can't count on beating teams near the top the whole time
  13. meh Willo/MYM looked good before and was harsh on MYM to get benched anyway so not terribly worried about the injury
  14. You've started six threads. christ your right-though I maintain I didn't deliberately start one of those myself just redirected posts from other threads (only 1 of which actually happened in Ba )
  15. the only thread I'm ever credited with making was the Ba one-and that was just dave moving my post in the rumours thread so no threads created by me
  16. Coleman is the popular choice at the moment it seems. His 5 goals obviously helps with this. Colemans been excellent alright and is probably my pick for rb based on the half season. Debuchy's still been great mind
  17. They haven't got a pot to p*ss in man. they also have a far superior youth set up and the club isn't run on the whims of a madman and instead with someone who actually thinks about what he's doing before he does it. agree about the youth set up, though I doubt it's for lack of cash. for all the whims of a madman etc we are very stable playing wise, manager long term, coaching staff, long term and for all the stuff about he'd sell his granny etc we don't in reality sell many first teamers. its the other decisions like the appointment of JFK- why what the hell was hoped to be achieved by changing how the one area off the field that was actually kinda working well enough and basically ruin it. Why ban the chronicle and journal unnecessary bad headlines brought down on the club over a petty grudge. Is there even a commercial department trying to improve how we raise cash that way? Fact is when things are looking kinda stable and hey things might get better random stupid hand grenades of chaos are thrown by ashley to fuck things up again.

  19. I find it hard to disagree with any of those points considering what a circus the club is off the field That's smoke and mirrors. The money somebody has had to spend matters not one bit as we've got some very good players who we've brought in on the cheap. If spending money was all that you have to do, Souness wouldn't have been sacked here after spending something like £50 million. Our youth system has been here since long before Pardew turned up so he's had over 3 years to do something with it and so far we've seen nothing, how does that work in his favour? Pardew was under pressure at the start of the season and rightly so after the s**** he served up last year. not really smoke and mirrors its reality of nufc the club is an utter shambles in every department but on the pitch. The amount of money spent you make is valid but the fact is we spent nothing at all in the summer and don't look likely to this window either and thats an issue for any manager when your basically standing still. The youth system requires attention and expertise which the manager can only go so far in getting it requires a real will to improve it from board level which is non existent. ITK ? educated guess based on the current DOF
  20. to achieve it regularily will require a lot more than just a decent first team. Sides like Everton and Spurs are light years ahead of us in every regard off the field. Until work is done to improve everything about the club from the first team down to how we train kids in the academy then any achievement like this or 5th will be fleeting successes as teams with a lot more cash and cl football pick apart our side at will. Bollocks. off the field, yes they are miles ahead of us. To think otherwise is lunacy considering who we have for an owner and how he runs things
