never mind Derby decided to shoot themselves in the foot
-
talk about scrappy goals, derby back in with a shout
-
boy did that ever show he has absolutely no imagination or scouting network in the slightest, would have been better off taking a gamble on some random young cb from the championship than signing him.
-
it could also go the way it went for Moyes with RVP vs us, lose the game because the guys not fit and he picks up another injury in the process because he wasn't ready to come back.
-
West Ham have basically bet everything that Carroll can get fit stay fit and hit top form very quickly and maintain it for 6 months. Hell of a gamble and moronic management by Hippo Head
-
surprised no one nearer the top of championship or even bottom of prem didn't take a chance

Is it Taylor playing or ITK Taylor playing ? logic, if Santons injured then its MYM or Anita for rb and its more than likely MYM -
they do get a lot more attention compared to other clubs (us when we're not a circus for example) from the media, probably to do with the porn barons being rent a quote gobshites who don't shut up.

yeah but look how much he's saving Ashley from not buying players while Llambias had the audacity to spend money last january!
-
really? had no idea, any notion who the players were? was reading this morning that rooney can also buy himself out come the summer tbh he's probably one of the few who if he really felt like it could pull it off-down to 12 months in the summer too so market value going down. Still can't see him doing it mind more money for him the normal way

JFK is in charge of transfers-explains everything
-
the mirror article mentioned Jonas as someone who moved under that deal but as I recall we got taken to court over it and paid money to the club for him anyway

rather surprised looking at the first page. Then again I wasn't exactly happy when I found out and more than a little shocked

I think the main difference is the lack of the Fergie fear factor teams are no longer afraid to have a go at man utd which in the last few years when teams actually attacked them they looked vulnerable but it wasn't done often enough. Refs aren't giving the marginal calls that always went Man Utds way like the pen they conceded tonight, I honestly don't think it would have been given if Fergie was in the dugout because they were shit scared of Fergie but aren't of Moyes. Throw in a squad thats badly needed surgery in the last few years and an unfortunate amount of injuries the result is whats going on now. Which just means they're still better than most teams and in reality their situation isn't all that bad just looks bad to a crowd thats had nothing but success over the last 20 years and many a fan who can't remember a time before fergie.

at least it keeps the 2nd leg interesting
-
i daresay if you went on any forum of a team struggling the same complaints come up over and over and over and over again, recall listening to 606 podcast before clarke was sacked with a wba fan complaining and it was a copy paste of the standard pardew threads complaints
-
West Ham loan Roger Johnson for the season.
-
see Grant, Avram
-
they say he's out for it
-
Walcott out for 6 months
-
the team wasn't exactly weak on saturday
-
maybe the bids being sent by post standard airmail obviously not 1st class get it there overnight there are costs to cut
-
maybe but considering the garbage squad (by man utd standards) he's been left he does need time. Fergie's legacy is a side with only 2 players who really scare anyone in RVP and Rooney and 1 of thems constantly broken and the other only has 18 months on his contract and doesn't seem in a hurry to sign a new one. Creaking ageing defense with the replacements brought in not up to those standards (I still maintain Jones is never a cb) a complete lack of any kind of midfield worth a damn at that level. Sure he's made mistakes but what would sacking him now achieve but a big hole in the finances with the payoff? Won't change the fact the squads not great (again for that level). Also one of my pet hates over recent years especially is the constant refrain that a new manager will solve absolutely everything wrong with the club and get a side winning and playing better football without anything being done to address the fundamental problems that the clubs have beyond the superficial with the manager. Its a common refrain from whatever teams lost this week on phone ins and obviously they look for that kind of loud mouth but doesn't stop annoying me.

yeah I'd like to reestablish this to any kind of coverage of the fa cup at all by anybody and the ridiculousness of it all. I love the 3rd round of the FA cup and the drama, coverage and everything it brings with it. Just a shame were so shit at it. yeah those things are nice for me in theory but the overall sanctimoniousness of it all drives me insane, overall I don't actually like watching the FA cup and lose almost all interest in it once we're out. I honestly find the League Cup more interesting to watch.
