not one of them is terribly realistic, southampton do not need to sell anyone and i think would prefer to keep their kid if hes as promising as is being reported because they could get more later, i'd like wickham and is the most realistic out of the three but we would probably face severe competition for him, taarabt is a bit of a trouble maker and general all round dick so not worth the bother imo plus its not like qpr need the cash or anything

reports here that keane demanded a €1m survival bonus which west ham are balking at to move there on top of 65k a week and a 6m fee to spurs (wtf how can they possibly ask that much for him) so any move there is off
-
the price being bandied about for clubs is 10m, bit excessive for someone whos barely played league games

Shola returning from injury.....well.......it's like a new signing. He's only a young lad.... great potential..............

got what 15-20m off liverpool? and how much was he on at inter 15-20m off liverpool no club would be stupid to sack a manager to give them that kind of money. he had just signed a rather hefty contract said to be worth £20m in total and i don't think there was an escape clause so the payoff would have been very hefty

there would probably still be the same feeling about keeping our players, there always is every window

I have managed to find a link about the shambolic episode. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-pay-barton-loyalty-fee-to-complete-deal-453152.html Man City of today would not fanny around over £300K. The fella that did has become chairman of the FA today. city were fairly broke at the time iirc

Carson has played well, looks to have got over his howler for England. Carrick and Jonny Evans haven't been bad either. evans is a terrible defender and has been garbage for man u

i would contend that the corners or free kicks has more to do with carroll than barton. both, the delivery is as important as ac9's flick ons
-
people just need to stop panicking every time one of our players is linked with the exit door, 99% of the time such links are just journos making shit up

again journos making shite up, on what basis is villa more likely for trophies for us they've gone way backwards and once again villa downsizing wage bill wouldnt pay bartons wages
-
i did find amusing their thing about "oh its what spurs do buy young english players, how brilliant are they blah blah blah" really i don't think it takes a genius to figure out ac9 is the best young english striker around at the moment and i don't recall the last time spurs spent 20m plus another player on someone also they overlooked the basic facts a crouch is shit b keane and crouch are on big big wages which we wouldn't pay
