Hang on a minute, the talk of Mick prompted me to have a gander at his Facebook again, how did we miss this?! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=167594896661523&set=t.100000123466460&type=3

Someone change his username to Mick.
  3. Happened to Clarkie twice, in successive games against us too, first time it was worse at it was a late winner. He then went and scored the opener when we went back there the next season which is the game you're talking about, we went on to win that one.
  4. Notice the Plymouth odds have come tumbling down last night, could've got evens then, should've jumped on when I had the chance.

  6. Went for QPR, £10 stake gives a potential return of £110.67.
  7. They're normally quite reasonable with ticket prices tbf to them.

That's not saying much, most people couldn't stand the sight of Pardew when he first came through the door. And possibly, although I think it's destined to all end in tears for everyone concerned and I still think you've tried to praise him for two things that are actually two of his biggest flaws.

Actually, didn't Brummie say that Artie did next to no coaching himself and left it all to his minions? So basically, he's a half decent motivator.

I think Brummie might have something to say about him being a good coach; as for tactically aware, I'm not sure you could be further from the truth. Even his motivational skills didn't seem to last too long last season.

Nothing against you, Belfast Mags, but the concept of paragraphs seems to completely elude you.
  13. Victor's opening weekend offer is place a treble on those fixtures and get a free treble for next week. Chelsea and a draw in our game are my first two selections, can't decide whether to play it safe and go for City, or take a risk and go for QPR.

Just seen this on there too... Info from the MON dinner: "Sessegnon's agent has touted him all over this summer and, as a result, he's had his head turned.... but thinks we should be ok in keeping him." Gyan MKII.

He's foreign and he doesn't score goals, ergo he's shite.

Class, it's appears that MON's scouting net has been reeled in even further. Long gone are the days when he'd search all over the country for over-valued shite, the economic downturn's finally took it's toll and now he must be content with scouring the length and breadth of Wolverhampton.

Was just about to post that. Sky: Mackems:
  19. How do the Dutch gets keepsies on some Caribbean islands? Could we not have kept a couple when they dismantled the empire? Or just Jamaica, then we could've had Bolt running for Team GB.
  20. But I thought we were mates? atromitos-peristeri?? http://alltheragefaces.com/img/faces/png/neutral-whyyyyy.png
  21. Ah, right, yeah, in which case I too had completely forgotten about his existence.
  22. Oh yeah. I completely forgot he existed. You talking about Citeh's academy graduates here? In which case, wat http://soccerleaguenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/adam-johnson.jpg

    Hatem Ben Arfa

He might offer more going forward in a 4-3-3, but his defensive cover in the wings (especially early doors when we had either a make-shift left back or a rookie Santon) was invaluable at times last season. I don't think there's any need to say he's definitely better here than there, one of his main strengths is his versatilely, horses for courses and all that.
