Hopefully going down to this, Blackburn's always good craic and I've never been to a night time away game so looking forward to it. Would like a strong, if not full strength, team. Marveaux, Ben Arfa and Santon should all start while I'd also like to see players like Gosling, Abeid and Vuckic.

He's undoubtedly a better player than Obertan, but I don't think he'd fit into the current system whereas Obertan does. I'd also hope Marveaux will eventually replace Obertan anyway. This year we've got Cabaye playing a similar role to Barton last year, only Cabaye is good enough to do it in the centre rather than out on the right.

Tbf they always have, ever since the Gallowgate was redeveloped and the new store opened. Initially it was an 'Adidas Superstore', or something along those lines, and sold Adidas boots, balls, etc as well as Adidas shits such as Madrid and Munich ones.

Him plus a LB in January would be a massive boost. ACN is going to be tough for us like, if Best or Ben Arfa get injured during that period we're going to struggle unless the Shola who turned up on Sunday shows up.

Agree, there's no reason we can't play 2 strikers + Ben Arfa against teams like Wigan at home. Given a free role on the right would allow him to cut in and shoot on his left.

Tbf, I think this whole "trying to hard" was very encouraging. After 12 months out he was never going to immediately fit into the team, especially considering he's never played with some of these players in his life, at least not in a proper match, and also considering he came on as we were franticly chasing the game. He could've easily came back from an injury like that and shied away a little, but he was everywhere; up front, dropping back into midfield, on the wings; and constantly making himself available. Once he gets up to full fitness, gets on the same wavelength and develops an understanding with the rest of the side he'll tear teams apart.

One thing I noticed is every time he got the ball near the box the whole of the Gallowgate end stood up in anticipation. Been a while since we've had a player who get people off their seats like that, was a great feeling. Off topic, but thought the Gallowgate was absolutely brilliant yesterday, especially in the final 20 minutes or so. Really enjoying the positivity around the club at the minute, long may it continue!
