All the players that had extended holidays got benched today, due to having less training sessions. I hope they come out after the break since we're, well, not too good.

Wish they wouldn't celebrate like they've won the league though. Inferiority complex is strong. Nah, they have a long story these two. Particularly after a few controversial Madrid wins at Mestalla these past years. I bet you're happy though What does the future hold for Valencia now Lim is in control VI? Well, he's splashed the cash a bit (although with a 3rd party ownership formula, so Valencia doesn't wholly own the players), and Valencia are resurgent. They are favorites for 4th place to me, and with stabilisation they should be able to push on. Third party ownership. Who owns these players then? I'm assuming it isn't Lim? The New York Times reckons fifa will ban 3rd party ownership btw. Lim does, through an investment fund. There's talk he will just transfer the players to Valencia if the ban goes through. Why would he do that VI? Looks like I'll have to Google and hope to find an English source sounds very interesting. Mendes is involved, so all bets are off. One explanation is that he wanted to protect himself given the very protracted negotiations with Valencia's creditors.

Sociedad have beaten both Real and Atletico this season haven't they? We haven't won at their place since they came back up.

Valencia Let's see if we don't fuck it up later tonight and we can still make a race out of this.

Good to know Carver thinks yesterday's side is NUFC's first XI bar Ayoze.

It is a great quip

Every time I have seen Niang play he's seemed a genuine talent, although quite raw. Stuff doesn't seem to be working at Milan for him, which is surprising given how s*** they are.
-
Laudrup He would only last a year in the dugout, but what a year it would be.

You lot must be one of the few football clubs in the world that actually make money for its owner.

'fun', doesnt sound too good! the African nations cup goalkeepers are 'fun to watch' I meant that in a good way. I always found them spirited and dynamic. But that's going off maybe half a dozen European games.
-
OL were fun to watch everytime I saw them in the CL under Garde. That's all I can say.
-
RMC have been quite reliable, haven't they?
-
It was crazy that they went down to begin with.

Didn't he cleave someone earlier too? Guy's a wildcard. He's been beating the s*** out of people all day. The one time he played football it was by accident. He was trying to check the keeper.

SBR was despised by the Barcelona fans and media despite ending up the European manager of the year and winning 3 trophies. You'd find that he's pretty liked now, in retrospect. His main problem was coming after Cruyff and the unrealistic expectations we all had at the time.
-
His career is pretty uneven, but winning the Dutch league with Twente was a huge achievement for McClaren. It's not like they are a powerhouse in the Dutch league, that's their only league win in history.

Pardew was pretty much Head Coach already. It's just a name.

Mágico González imho. Without the being a wasted drunkard bit.

He just had one year of professional football under his belt when you signed him; he had offers to join the B squads of several Spanish big teams but he chose you instead. Again, kudos for scouting a player in the second division of Spanish football and seeing his value.
