  1. We've faced some pretty dreadful offences. Anyway, Tuesday will be the best test to really gauge where we are at.
  2. Loving Messi in this "advanced playmaker" role, but I love him more when he also scores. The whole "but he's a provider now!" reminds me a lot of when Ronaldinho started his decline. Anyway, seeing him dropping deep and to the flanks to make stuff happen bodes well for when Suárez comes into the picture.
  3. 6 in 5 for Neymar. http://s10.postimg.org/lpl8d3dnd/Sense_t_tol.png
  4. Granada have a player named "Succes", needs to move to England ASAP for the immense pun potential. Anyway, today's been fun.
  5. This has just flown over the Villareal pitch during their game against Real Madrid http://estaticos03.marca.com/eventos/marcador/futbol/2014_15/primera/jornada_6/vil_rma/images/pancarta_300x211.jpg Reportedly paid for by a ManU supporters association
  6. We VI we... You aren't going to beguile me into properly supporting NUFC, I have a life to live
  7. Same here. Drunkards and children always tell the truth so, erm, here's hoping you lose tomorrow.
  8. Spain's anti-corruption prosecutor has opened a case against Real Zaragoza and Levante for alleged bribe. Zaragoza won 1-2 in the last game of the season and dramatically avoided relegation thanks to that result. Sources say that the prosecutors have traced the money and they have a solid case. Levante have been linked to other bribing scandals in these past seasons, which are also under scrutiny. The club quietly got rid of the suspected players a year ago.
  9. Good damn time. Third party ownership has begun to become commonplace in La Liga during the past years and it's shady as fuck.
  10. Valencia's twitter account published this stat after yesterday's game. I don't know how accurate it is. Most weeks leading La Liga: [994] Real Madrid [639] Barcelona [254] Atlético Madrid [164] Athletic Club [154] @valenciacf [094] Deportivo
  11. Alcácer is staking a pretty damn solid claim on the CF spot, though.
  12. Speaking of Valencia, they could be joint top of La Liga if they win tonight, which I expect them to do.
  13. They mostly criticized him for performing badly in Europe; their CL record wasn't too inspiring - I don't think they got in a single Q/F in his entire tenure. That's where the "big game" criticism comes form; Valencia supporters were frustrated because they took CL football for granted, and he never gave them much more to get excited about, as Valencia tended to go out of the cups as soon as they got close to the business end of the season. But again, we are talking about a club that was forced to sell their best players every season, and he still placed them in the CL. I'm pretty sure he'd had done wonders with some financial stability. For starters, he's already won a cup with Sevilla.
  14. He always delivers the goods, imho. He got too much unfair criticism at Valencia. Tired of finishing 3rd or 4th, wasn't it? He left. Midtable mediocrity for a few seasons. I know they where other factors but still Not even that. Emery still placed them third after selling the likes of Silva, Mata and Villa.

  16. We need more bite upfront, thankfully Suárez looked pretty hungry in today's friendly.
  17. You have seen your team score twice tonight! I would be surprised if we get one the way this is going.
  18. We are awful tonight. Feels like I'm watching a game from last season.
  19. Fan of wba in game twitter The pace on Ben arfa is unreal! No way, he was fat and unfit. This is actually pissing me off too for some reason Getting sick of you acting like you don't know why. It balances out my karma

  21. I mean as in actually appearing. I recall Beasley playing in a semi, and I would be pretty surprised Kirovski played much for BVB.
  22. Who's the yank player that has played the furthest in the CL? Beasley for PSV?
  23. Don't you want to win this one since your owner doesn't care about the cups?
  24. And another set piece goal. Their problem is that they need to get better at unlocking teams in open play.
