His Athletic side was the same. Loads of pressure, quick transitions and a lot of forward drive. They were really fun to watch since both goals would see plenty of action.

Real should have won this, to be frank. Valencia started strongly but were on the back foot for most of the game.

Where else could he go, though? Spurs-Everton are to me the top English clubs he could aspire to manage right now, and he's already worked for one. I suppose he could go to the continent, but I can't see him getting a good gig in a top league, either.

I have no idea, but it's pretty clear it's a conscious tactical decision now, rather than just a few games thing. If he accepts this role (and to be honest, he seems to be enjoying it), it's a better "use of resources" given the partners he has upfront. He'll still finish with 20+ goals himself.

They have a chance. There's a bunch of crap teams (Elche, Levante, Getafe, Depor, Córdoba) who they can reasonably best. They do have a few loanees in there. Vilá, Del Moral, Navas...

Apparently Xabi Alonso beat today the Bundesliga records for completed passes (196) and times on ball (204). He managed more passes than the entire Köln team (142).
