  1. Agent Bruce Dunno about that. I was never that impressed with him until who I saw he got deadline day and the type of footy he wants to play. He shot up in my estimation. Di Matteo would be my choice though or Laudrup Still surprised nobody has offered him a job after being sacked at Chelsea.
  2. Aye, it's hysterical. Not even our reporters do that for Barça/Madrid.
  3. Oh man, if only you had a creative attacking midfielder to cover for him.
  4. Well, he didn't specify how many of them.
  5. First defeat against France in 8 years, with no shots on goal. Grand.
  6. Sorry, I honestly meant no harm Sissoko's best play was sadly disallowed, he put in a great low cross for Benzema.
  7. Remy has been so much better on the right than Sissoko...
  8. Remy scores. Great vision by Valbuena to spot him. 95% of players would have taken the shot from that position.
  9. He just gave an assist for a wrongly disallowed goal. Besides that he'd been fairly anonymous. EDIT: They have just shown another angle where it looks offside.
  10. Spain hasn't been bad, but Costa barely gets involved; the team isn't used to play with that kind of striker and he's too limited to do tiki-taka (which he shouldn't).
  11. Iván de la Peña, with hair: http://futboltotal100.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/captura-de-pantalla-2011-09-09-a-las-11-32-01.png
  12. So weird seeing a Spanish team without a single Xavi in it. It does look decent though.
  13. Honestly can't wait for Pepe vs Suárez. Talk about the irresistible force meeting the unmovable object, cuntishness wise.
  14. http://www.nufcfans.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/nufcfans_steven_taylor_newcastle_united_ballboy_ferdinand_barton.jpg Pep Guardiola as ballboy: http://s5.as.com/recorte/20100120dasdasftb_7/LCO/Ies/CULE_CUNA_joven_Pep_Guardiola.jpg
  15. Also famous managers when they were young not as old: http://img02.mundodeportivo.com/2014/09/04/Luis-Enrique-y-Mourinho-en-su-_54415662173_54115221154_600_396.jpg
  16. To be honest, that photo is a few days old. He's cut it since then. http://www.diez.hn/csp/mediapool/sites/dt.common.streams.StreamServer.cls?STREAMOID=YEnSxESE0LIWA3r6RqHe_c$daE2N3K4ZzOUsqbU5sYv68_lt2YyxhynETuMwmDDZWCsjLu883Ygn4B49Lvm9bPe2QeMKQdVeZmXF$9l$4uCZ8QDXhaHEp3rvzXRJFdy0KqPHLoMevcTLo3h8xh70Y6N_U_CryOsw6FTOdKL_jpQ-&CONTENTTYPE=image/jpeg This is from this weekend's defeat.
  17. Piqué, Fàbregas and Messi when they played together as bairns (I think they are 15 in the photo) http://elfutbolesinjusto.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/lionel-messi-cesc-fabregas-uk-01.jpg
  18. As much as I love Lucho, I don't get why he's invited to this, besides him being our manager.
  19. Honestly, I think Di María injected a lot of mobility in Argentina's play, and allowed for example Messi to have more space. It's just a silly what-if, I know that Argentina can blame only themselves for losing that final. But when he went down against Belgium I was sure a lot of their chances to win the tournament vanished. Argentina were much easier to contain when he wasn't on the pitch.
  20. At 18: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Sg-XrUI06rY/UPfi6vIN6eI/AAAAAAAAPfo/T_-BOFHvc4o/s1600/DIEGOCOSTA+FAME.jpg Incidentally, he looked a right donkey at that age. If somebody told me he would be considered one of the top strikers in the world years later, I would've told him to lay off the booze.
  21. No idea where you're getting this opinion of him not having a great World Cup either
  22. I know it's a friendly, but I really think the Cup would be in Buenos Aires had Di María been fit for the final.
  23. I presumed that your shoehorning efforts included Phil Jones in goal.
