Cause he's s*** and no one wants him in the team so harsh Elias: "oh I wonder what is in the newspaper today I sure hope it's interesting" Paper: "RUBBISH ELIAS RAPED BY MAICON" Elias: "oh what an unfortunate rumour I hope that's all that's in here" Paper: "P*SS-SOAKED ELIAS'S PEPPERED ANUS SHAME" Elias: "oh well"

You're lucky only shit players got caught, then.

Yeah, I'm aware your owner isn't the most gentlemanly businessman around, but this kind of stunt it's not the stuff you do when you will be doing business with a lot more people in the future. And I still find incredible that Green wouldn't have spotted that, even if he didn't draw up the contract.

Forgot about that article, Sid Lowe is always great when writing about our league.

Jémez just has a fantastic philosophy and attitude. And he's got results with one of the smallest teams in La Liga. His enthusiasm is infectious, I just love how he goes to Bernabéu or Camp Nou and just goes "f*** this small team shit, I always plan to win". Most of the time he gets a rude awakening, but he's the only manager to have won the possession stat versus Barça since 2008. Funny how a burly no nonsense centreback has gone on to become such an attack-minded manager.

Small interview with him today at Marca. Nothing remarkable, just that he's happy to have debuted with the U21s and that he understands that needs time to adapt to the Premier League, but is happy to have been involved in all games so far.

Particularly without domestic football this weekend.

They have Kameni, N'dy Assembe, and Itandje all playing in big leagues. They must simply prefer him or look to start anew after disastrous World Cup. I don't know the specifics. Speaking oh which, do you have an opinion on Dongou? When he was promoted to Barça B he looked out of his depth, but has been improving. He's just 19, he won't become the second coming of Eto'o but will come good imho. A brace today in Liga Adelante. The commentators mentioned he's been refusing callups from Cameroon though? I suppose he might be hedging his chances to be picked up for Spain, but they also mentioned he doesn't get along well with Eto'o.

The red-brown brick follows the building style of the area. I love when a stadium is able to follow the tradition of the town while still standing out architecturally. I like that stadium a lot, really.

Having full power over transfers at Everton must have been like being in charge of the Luxembourg navy.

"Jémez signs for Newcastle in a two year contract" It's a fake news article, found a forum post about some guy playing Fifa Manager and getting him as NUFC manager.
-
I've decided I'll go on a one-man campaign to get Paco Jémez appointed NUFC manager. http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/9710/tb51.jpg

Paco Jémez' compo would be a pittance, and you would love him. Too off-the-radar for your board to consider him, sadly.
-
There's Pepe Mel, although I guess his stock isn't too high after WBA. Certainly a polar opposite to Pardew regarding footballing style and attitude.
-
Since there's been some proper football played in it, I guess this one counts. It's my favorite yank stadium: http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/big10/graphics/auto/lucas_oil_2.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pEZgjjFQeyk/UgRDxZVa6aI/AAAAAAAADec/N-hZb_7HPo4/s1600/IMG_3963.JPG

Heh, Barça B's reserve keeper started today for Cameroon in a ACN qualifying game. That's scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Their keeper situation must be really bad.

When he wears the crimson and blue one, the best way is to just let him shoot.
-
Come on yanks, stop voodooing him. He's suffered enough already.

Rochemback and Motta leading our midfield.

Can you remember how we did against Barca? Were we ever in either of those games? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/champions_league/2860505.stm I had forgotten about that one

That Hungarian pitch is really unique.
