  1. Will report if he says anything juicy. Misread the date and it's happening tomorrow at 11 GMT+1, not today. Me bad. Means there's time to send a question if you're interested.
  2. Starting a live chat at www.marca.com http://www.marca.com/charlas/jose_enrique/12052011.html
  3. Always makes me think of this movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQshyrB_sD8
  4. Yes, Alves signed a new contract a month ago.
  5. Possibly scoring 40+ goals in La Liga and not winning the title. Frustrating.
  6. In 2008-2009 we fielded rather weak teams after clinching the title. I think we didn't win a single one of the last 3 games IIRC. Málaga is the last one by the way, not Racing.
  7. It depends on LFP, but it should be since it's our last home game as well.
  8. He isn't. But still would be a dreadful swap.
  9. Ah yes, a 33 year old is the answer to their needs. They'll be better off sticking with Özil.
  10. I love the optimism in this board, you just secured premiership status one hour ago
  11. Imho, if he wins the league it will be because we go down more than they go up. I think Pellegrini's Madrid was a better league team, more offensive. 90% of the teams in this league are going to go 10 men behind ball when facing RM or Barça, and Pellegrini's approach was better for that.
  12. Pellegrini had a better league record last year than Mourinho will have this year. Only in the KO competitions has he been more successful (significantly so, though).
  13. I would pay good money to watch you try to cut your balls off with a wooden spoon. Some interesting taste for entertainment. I don't anticipate his succeeding. And thus ask for your money back. Smart.

  15. This is my hope. I wonder if Fergie will make the same mistake as last time and try to play football against Barca. I don't think ManU have the players to try and play Mourinho football though.
  16. He pretty clearly said that our 2009 CL win was "not clean".
  17. To be frank, the likes of Oporto and Benfica should have been proving themselves in the CL, not the EL. It's the top 2 Portuguese teams besting the second tier English/Italian/Spanish teams. Braga, though, that's a sensational run for them this year.
  18. I suspect he needs to play in an uncool city. Can't do much in Santander at nights other than watching sparrows and getting drunk with old sailors.
  19. KD, what are your plans regarding Dos Santos? He's been brilliant at Santander.
  20. Can't think what would happen in this place if Owen really scored a late winner in the CL final.
  21. Nani can do damage, he's actually the lone ManU player that I fear the most (and Rooney if he regained early 2010 form).
  22. He looked a bit lost in here, to be frank, but I presume he didn't suit the league nor did have much chance or time to adapt. But scored a couple of good goals.
  23. Our press has published an interview where, apart from saying that he dreams of scoring the wining goal at Wembley, mounts an hilarious defence of how important it is to be a bench player. EDIT: Looks like it's from ManU's official website. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2011/May/michael-owen-has-wembley-dream.aspx?pageNo=1
  24. He won't resign. But reading those quotes I think his job isn't really save. In case he gets sacked I think he'll go to one of those 3 clubs I've mentioned. Calderón's words have no bearing on what Madrid will do. He has a huge axe to grind against Florentino Pérez and will say anything to unsettle his regime. It is true that Madrid's board is uneasy about Mourinho, but it is very unlikely that they'll sack him as long as he remains popular with the stands, and Mourinho has played them very smartly.
  25. Nah, most people seem to think he will continue. He's done a great job of deflecting blame away and has the backing of the stands. All in all, where would he go? Unless Fergie pulls a shock retirement can't see any job that could meet his ambition, no way he's back to Inter and endanger his legacy there with an aged squad on the way down. Maybe ManCity could tempt him. Also, who would get Madrid in his stead?
