He would be a great fit for the PL. He's a tall and strong lad but also capable with the ball on the floor. Good burst of speed too. Paying the full €20m is a tad risky though, although I can't see Málaga settling with less than that given they don't need the money at all.
-
Ok, I have been hunting around and he's also linked to Arsenal, Sevilla and Atlético, so I suspect it's just the usual random linking every time a player is successful. €20m is indeed his release clause.

Thay have oil money now. No need to sell at all.

Very good player, but mad money if true. Will snoop around our press and Málaga fansites.

Last question is the only one about NUFC proper: Q: How do you rate Newcastle's season? A: I think it hasn't been a great season, but it's been a good one and we have reached the target of avoiding relegation, something very important for the club and the fans. We have had a short squad due to injuries and the loss of some players like Carroll. But I think we have accomplished our aims. I think that Newcastle have to spend big if we want to be in the top half next season.
-
Ok, he's just denied the Liverpool link. Translation: Q:Are the rumors that put you in Liverpool next season true? Would you like to become a "red"? A:Liverpool are a great club in England and Europe, but there's nothing at the moment. What's been said is false, I'm happy and calm at Newcastle.

Messi and fat Ronaldo are his favorite footballers.

Heh, top of the page says it's happening on the twelfth. Ok so far, nothing very direct regarding his future, etc. He says that he doesn't want to leave the PL for Spain unless it's for a top team, though. He praises the PL a lot and says he wants to keep playing in England (which since he's talking to Spanish readers means something). Also says that it's very hard to make the Spanish squad playing abroad unless you're in a big team, but he hopes to get his reward in time if he keeps doing things well.
-
Hope he doesn't mean that in a Boro sense. Their signings did get the fans off their seats indeed.
-
Will report if he says anything juicy. Misread the date and it's happening tomorrow at 11 GMT+1, not today. Me bad. Means there's time to send a question if you're interested.

Yes, Alves signed a new contract a month ago.

Possibly scoring 40+ goals in La Liga and not winning the title. Frustrating.
-
In 2008-2009 we fielded rather weak teams after clinching the title. I think we didn't win a single one of the last 3 games IIRC. Málaga is the last one by the way, not Racing.
-
It depends on LFP, but it should be since it's our last home game as well.
-
He isn't. But still would be a dreadful swap.
-
Ah yes, a 33 year old is the answer to their needs. They'll be better off sticking with Özil.

I love the optimism in this board, you just secured premiership status one hour ago

Imho, if he wins the league it will be because we go down more than they go up. I think Pellegrini's Madrid was a better league team, more offensive. 90% of the teams in this league are going to go 10 men behind ball when facing RM or Barça, and Pellegrini's approach was better for that.
-
Pellegrini had a better league record last year than Mourinho will have this year. Only in the KO competitions has he been more successful (significantly so, though).
-
I would pay good money to watch you try to cut your balls off with a wooden spoon. Some interesting taste for entertainment. I don't anticipate his succeeding. And thus ask for your money back. Smart.

This is my hope. I wonder if Fergie will make the same mistake as last time and try to play football against Barca. I don't think ManU have the players to try and play Mourinho football though.

He pretty clearly said that our 2009 CL win was "not clean".
