It's like both teams are just playing out for a draw ffs. Would guarantee that Levante stay up as well (although they aren't really in danger with so many teams below them).
-
Yes, although we actually have no fit senior CBs besides him. Guess we can play the bairns if we tie this up tonight.
-
Should probably get a rest, he's the Barça outfield player with more playing time this season.
-
60 min for Abidal under the belt, he's looked rusty but if we manage to get him in form for Wembley he'll be a huge boost.
-
Rats, vodka back to the fridge.
-
Time to start pouring the vodka.

Andrés Guardado linked with a €10m move to Spartak Moscow. You should be in at that price, his fitness hasn't been the best but he's a great winger.
-
IIRC, the talk was that their owner is willing to invest around €50m in transfers this summer which can turn them into an EL challenging team but not really enough to bridge the gap with Valencia/Villarreal/Sevilla/Atlético just yet.
-
Osvaldo has a bunch of suitors already. He's a fan favorite, though, and the board will be hesitant to sell unless it's for good money, I'm afraid. It's pretty obvious he's way too good to play in that shower of shit, though.

Ah, one of those "You don't fire me, I quit" international football retirements.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2011/05/11/2481292/ac-milan-ponder-swoop-for-hercules-david-trezeguet-report Love this. Aging former star player? Let's link him to Milan!
-
Yes, the business lies in picking Salomón when he was worth €3.5m, not 20. You did that with Tiote and Ben Arfa so it can be done.
-
Yes, they agreed a ridiculous fee for him (€2m), due to his contract expiring soon and the player been unsettled. Smart business from the bitters, to be frank.
-
He's Espanyol-bound. To replace Callejón.
-
Hehe, Real Madrid have organized yet another trophy presentation in Madrid for the Copa del Rey just the day we may clinch the league title. Bitter? Not at all.
-
I know I have banged this drum a bit, but with Almería relegated Piatti should go for peanuts, and he's just been called up to the Argentina squad. Apparently Málaga are in talks to get him though, and they are well oiled (pun).
-
He would be a great fit for the PL. He's a tall and strong lad but also capable with the ball on the floor. Good burst of speed too. Paying the full €20m is a tad risky though, although I can't see Málaga settling with less than that given they don't need the money at all.
-
Ok, I have been hunting around and he's also linked to Arsenal, Sevilla and Atlético, so I suspect it's just the usual random linking every time a player is successful. €20m is indeed his release clause.
-
Thay have oil money now. No need to sell at all.
-
Very good player, but mad money if true. Will snoop around our press and Málaga fansites.

Last question is the only one about NUFC proper: Q: How do you rate Newcastle's season? A: I think it hasn't been a great season, but it's been a good one and we have reached the target of avoiding relegation, something very important for the club and the fans. We have had a short squad due to injuries and the loss of some players like Carroll. But I think we have accomplished our aims. I think that Newcastle have to spend big if we want to be in the top half next season.
-
Ok, he's just denied the Liverpool link. Translation: Q:Are the rumors that put you in Liverpool next season true? Would you like to become a "red"? A:Liverpool are a great club in England and Europe, but there's nothing at the moment. What's been said is false, I'm happy and calm at Newcastle.
-
Messi and fat Ronaldo are his favorite footballers.
-
Heh, top of the page says it's happening on the twelfth. Ok so far, nothing very direct regarding his future, etc. He says that he doesn't want to leave the PL for Spain unless it's for a top team, though. He praises the PL a lot and says he wants to keep playing in England (which since he's talking to Spanish readers means something). Also says that it's very hard to make the Spanish squad playing abroad unless you're in a big team, but he hopes to get his reward in time if he keeps doing things well.
-
Hope he doesn't mean that in a Boro sense. Their signings did get the fans off their seats indeed.
