Seems anybody beats Chelsea nowadays.
-
Wrong Milito if you're looking for a forward though.
-
Gaby Milito wants out and has asked to be loaned out this window. Cunt spends the good part of the past three years chatting up the nurses at the club's infirmary while picking up wages and now this.

Well done mags Flair players rock.

Also, the only noteworthy thing in yesterday's game was the fact that Getafe seemed to have 2000000000 sponsors in their shirt, which made the thought of our future mess of a shirt more bearable.
-
You'd expect Getafe to sort of capitulate but for some reason they always take it up against them. Should be watchable. Getafe - Real is sort of an anti-derby. Getafe fans usually have Real Madrid as second team, and both teams have lots of links and players/managers have crossed the river in both directions in recent times. Getafe's president is a self-confessed Real Madrid member and boyhood fan. But the games themselves are usually intense.

Ozil has been very good, its hard to get a mention in a team which has a player who gets all the media coverage. But has without a doubt been one of their top performer and for his first year he has really settled in well. No, he hasn't. He's been playing like Zidane against the likes of Málaga, Zaragoza and Racing but like his 11 year old son against the Barças, Sevillas and Valencias of this world. A Real Madrid friend of mine has nicknamed him "Mr Cellophane" given how pale he is and how he easily pulls and invisibility act when things get rough. About Afellay, he'll give us much needed depth on the wings/AM positions. He might surprise us and be a great player, but at what we paid for him is practically a risk-free signing.

"AS" reporting that a member of the Real Madrid board spoke with Benítez yesterday and that Mou indeed talked to Moratti on Monday. PLEASE SANTA MAKE IT HAPPEN
-
No, he isn't. But don't tell them.
-
Good for him, he wasn't good enough for us but glad he has got a contract with a big team.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition

MLS?? SPL - Means we dont have to see it little our TVs. If we had a January WC, the training camps would start at the beginning of December and most players wouldn't return until February. We'd have players pulling out of league games so they dont get injured before the WC. Ridiculous predicament FIFA have got themselves into by giving the WC to a country about half the size of Jimmy Hills chin. Russia, the Scandies. -

Could be the last nail in the coffin for the current FIFA though, I'm all for them trying to make it happen. -
West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Village Idiot replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Yeah, people shouldn't be surprised or alarmed. If Mourinho wants a tall striker to complement Higuaín/Benzema, Madrid's technical staff are going to look at all the good tall strikers in Europe. They were linked with Hugo Almeida and Mario Gómez, who are s*** compared to Carroll. Can't they get Llorente? Just as big, and at present he's a better player too from the little I've seen. He's one of their top targets, actually. Florentino recently vowed that he wouldn't buy him in January out of respect to Bilbao, which means he's odds on to make the move in the summer unless Mou gets his way and forces them to sign somebody else in the winter window. -
Are you serious? Not trolling, just want to hear your reasoning that you could overtake ManCity and Spurs. He's not serious I don't know, the guy seems to always believe what he says pretty strongly.

Not sure who would ping those balls on his head though. They got Xabi Alonso but there aren't many good high crossers in their squad (or in Barça's for that matter, I don't think we could lift a ball higher than 6 feet if we tried). -

Also, Andy Carroll has been featured in several "upcoming talent" pieces in our rags. He's hard to ignore with all those goals and broken jaws. http://www.marca.com/2010/10/07/futbol/futbol_internacional/premier_league/1286473966.html http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/gen/20101120/54073973023/noticia/andy-carroll-crack-y-bad-boy.html etc... -

Consider this my first - and probably last - ITK post ever, but I do know for certain that Real Madrid have looked at Andy Carroll. He's also low in their list (which I have been told has around 20 names). They have looked at all the top leagues in Europe for a tall striker. Again, I'll stress they won't bid for him. -

Yes. Your board sacking Hughton merited a mention in the international pages of our sport papers. Allardyce didn't. I'd say most casual fans aren't really aware of your fall from grace. Me and my brother were watching ManU - NUFC in the PL opening week and he still thought you were on par with Everton, Spurs and the like. -
Elías signing for Atlético has been delayed until December 30th. Only putting it here because it's one of the first times I see this happen outside FM.

La Liga could go on strike for the New Year weekend, as the player's association and La Liga have failed to reach an agreement over several issues regarding player wage guarantees. Like all prior strike threats, I expect a timely agreement.

What is Mariga looking at? Also love Zanetti's "pretend to be listening" look, I always did that pose in school
