  1. Ferguson in Mestalla watching the Valencia - Atlético, weird. Our game was a bit dull, so I won't comment much of it. I'm afraid that's going to be business as usual at the Camp Nou this season though, 10 men behind ball and exercising our patience in cracking the nut.
  2. yeah 04:10 on sunday on sky Great, I'll crash some English pub here in BCN then.
  3. Is this game going to be on TV? For some reason I feel compelled to watch it. Rory Delap, Whelan and Whitehead. Tikitaka-tastic.
  4. Kaká has recorded a song with his wife. http://www.marca.com/tv/?v=nxLw3CHfoJs Yes, it is rather cringe-worthy.
  5. David Beckham for Barça (we had him on trial when he was a kid). Real Madrid had Iniesta, but his parents were disgusted by the facilities/housing and he went to us. That's the two most high-profile ones I can think of.
  6. If he doesn't win anything I suspect Jose would walk himself, as the atmosphere would be extremely poisonous and I don't think he's the kind of guy to put up with s***. I still consider Mou not winning anything with that squad a tall ask, though.
  7. Wasn't he used as a hole player a lot in his first season?
  8. Haha. 2-0 up now, though. I mean that's what they signed him for. It's ugly, but it works.
  9. Bernabéu going mental as Mou takes Di María and Özil out for Arbeloa and Khedira
  10. Mourinho going down a treat I see They are playing counter. At home. Against Espanyol... That's hard to swallow for the Bernabéu crowd. Still they have enjoyed the best chances, although they scored via dodgy penalty.
  11. Bernabéu booing their team despite being 1-0 up at HT
  12. R. Madrid - Espanyol in a bit. 14 years since the useless cunts won there.
  13. "El Rifle" Was instrumental for Osasuna last season.
  14. Man, what a fucking great goal by Osasuna. Try to catch this one on La Liga highlights
  15. Our parliament is going to debate a motion to discuss the implementation of transfer and wage caps in La Liga. It's still ways off from happening though, since they want to reach a consensus with La Liga (I also prefer self-regulation) and I don't think the government will strongarm them unless they refuse any kind of stricter financial policing.
  16. That Everton clip is fantastic. Players around him seem to play in slo-mo compared to him (Nolan I'm looking at you). Enjoy him mags Loved that bit of Colo taking the piss of an Everton player before laying it to Barfa.
  17. Casillas' GF (and world's hottest sports journalist) has slammed Cronaldo on TV saying he is "egoistical and shelfish, but he's always been that way and we knew it". She's criticized his BF in the past too mind, but I'm still amused by all this weird sudden wave of Madrid media hostility regarding Cronaldo.
  18. And he was so much injury prone at the beginning of his career... (granted his body was still developing). The boy put a lot of effort in getting that past him though, cutting his holidays short to get specialized training, changing the way he steps and runs... (he's a bit less pacey than he was, but tons more effective).
  19. We have a proper jinx when playing in Catalonia's official holidays, I still remember when we played Real Madrid in the CL semis in Saint George's Day (Catalonia's patron Saint) and they stuffed us 0-2. Zidane that day
  20. Iniesta just announced on Facebook that he's going to become dad soon. I suspect he scored twice that day in South Africa...
  21. They did score like 30-45 seconds after the whistle should've been blown since there were no real stoppages in stoppage time. He's got a point, however small it is. The main ref has the prerogative of deciding how long ET will last, what the assistant displays is merely indicative. It sucks, but that's football and he's not the first to lose to a late goal.
  22. Cesc Tweeting in 3 languages now? He's always done it that way.
  23. I see that Wegner has got a touchline ban for protesting the length of the ET against Sunderland. Admire a lot of what he has done over at Arsenal but has always been such a sore loser...
