  6. He's from Stoke. Going from Hanley to Burslem is like having an exotic adventure to a Potter. A relative of mine used to live in Hanley. Utterly grim place. I used to play football in the Staffordshire leagues. Sub-human scum. Stoke / Hanley would give Mos Eisley a run for its money. Aye, but you cannit get oatcakes in Mos Eisley!
  7. f*** I would laugh if the only game you got right was the France one. Had an absolute nightmare there!!

  9. In. Did a sweepstake amongst my football team where each player gets a team from pot 1/2 and a team from pot 3/4. Ended up with Northern Ireland and Switzerland...

  17. Cheers Varadi, the gulf in class between him and Pardew is astounding.
  18. What does his website say like? For some reason it's blocked in the PRC!
  19. No reason why under a good defensive tactical coach like Benitez this lad can't begin to fulfil some of his undoubted potential. He seems to be decent at the basics and has a bit of pace. Think him and Mbemba should be given a run in the team.

  23. Watched your game and thought Villa showed some decent character in the first half. Seemed incredibly frail throughout though and it seemed that if Stoke were to score you'd just fold which is what happened. Your goal kind of came out of the blue and even after you didn't look like scoring. Thought your fans were great though (as they usually are at SJP).
