  1. Awful appointment for Everton. Surely, with the squad they've got, they should have been aiming higher than survival and hoofball under that fat crook.
  2. Its not ball watching, he actively sprints forward out of position. Like the trigger on his controller got jammed. Their first goal was textbook ball watching. Had no idea where his man was and was 100% concentrating on the flight of the ball.
  3. Good job our defenders are chipping in with the odd goal because none of our forwards are.
  4. Awful defending from him again there. Ball watching.
  5. People are halfwits. He got a lot of abuse at the game, apparently. he got a bit, as did a few of the others. not as much as joselu. crowd was at its loudest when his number came up for sub. We might get a better performance away from home tonight then hopefully. Our away record in the Premier League is immense away from the pressures of that demanding SJP crowd. Let's hope it continues tonight.
  6. He's been an ever present all season up until today like. Nobody is saying he's good enough but the witchhunt on here with people blaming him for every goal we conceded was getting embarrassing. Ok Glad you agree.

  8. That just looks like a Championship standard football team.
  9. If he keeps picking Joselu it's only right that people ask questions of him. Fair enough the likes of Mitrovic and Perez divide opinion but the universal verdict on Joselu is that he's absolutely hopeless. I don't know anyone who either rates him or thinks he should be in the starting XI.
  10. There's a Wetherspoons about 5 mins walk from the station. We went there last season when we played Birmingham and it was pretty good. West Brom were playing Arsenal on the same day and there were a few West Brom fans in and it was a canny atmosphere.
  11. "Our fans, they know where we are and why we are here". Pretty damning statement against Ashley there.
  12. Got the same amount of points as Hughton right? Came in 11th, sold Carroll(?), ended 11th. Then the 5th place was part of that strong start. It's after that where he was terrible. Just about. Think we were 11th when he arrived and we finished the season in 12th. Would have been higher if we hadn't thrown away a 3-0 lead at home to West Brom on the last day of the season. Remember us beating Liverpool in his first game but other than that I think he started very poorly and we only won 2 games in his first 10 here and lost to Stevenage in the Cup. His first 10 games: Liverpool (h) D 1-1 Man City (h) L 1-3 Tottenham (a) L 0-2 Wigan (a) W 1-0 West Ham (h) W 5-0 Stevenage (a) (FAC) L 1-3 mackems (a) D 1-1 Tottenham (h) D 1-1 Fulham (a) L 0-1 Arsenal (h) D 4-4 We beat Liverpool 3-1 in his first game. He was booed into the dugout by sections of the crowd I remember.

  14. I thought his line was a direct shot at Ashley "our fans know why we are where we are". That's how I read it into it as well.
  15. The takeover just has to happen, simple as that. Rafa won't work under these conditions for much longer and once he's gone it'll be a Pardew or McClaren type replacement and the club will fall apart.
  16. At least our defeat at the weekend will be Expecting our usual Stamford Bridge humiliation there which makes tomorrow night's game even more important.
  17. Almost into December and this is the 1st time this season one of our away games won't have been shown live on Sky/BT. Think it'll be an awful spectacle mind.
  18. Rafa's slow paced, defensive style of football where we don't seem to have any sustained pressure on our opponents goal, or even any real possession on their half, isn't exactly conducive to a vibrant atmosphere because atmosphere tends to be dictated by what happens on the pitch, but even so it's been spot on this season thanks to Wor Hyem/Gallowgate Flags.
  19. He started well but got progressively worse and was turning into a liability. Thats why he got dropped and replaced by Elliot.
  20. Darlow had has chance last season and got progressively worse and more and more complacent resulting in all the daft mistakes he started making. That's why he lost his place to Elliot. As well as this he's a bang average Keeper as well.
  21. Imagine if he made a decent save once. It's pretty tough to actually imagine that, but at least try. He's made plenty of decent saves this season like. Just silly to pretend otherwise.
  22. Had a really good view of it from the corner and didn't think he could do much about it. Certainly the crowd didn't blame him nor has he taken the blame in any of the match reports I've read or in the commentary. Made one really good save in the 1st half but didn't command his area well I thought.
