Would definitely have Perez in for Diame tomorrow. -
Half season tickets now on sale; http://mobile.nufc.co.uk/default.aspx?s=news-display&aid=6037887

Averaged 17,000 in the 3rd Division. They were down to around 11k at the start of the season but obviously that increased when they were doing well and looking nailed on for promotion.
-
Would love to see them to get relegated, then go into administration in the summer and start their Championship season on -10 points. Then get relegated again.

There's an ignore function?

Still creased at Moyes face here
-
Really? I would have thought they'd be over the moon to get a manager of Moyes' calibre once Allardyce had grabbed his cardboard boxes and bolted south for the England job. I know Sunderland is a pretty dismal place but even I wouldn't have thought their fans are that thick. Aye there was a few photos doing the rounds on twitter of fans (3 of them I think) confronting him in the dugout when Boro went 2-0 up.
-
He's got a canny little number at Burnley mind. The mackems were confronting and abusing Moyes in the dugout in his very first home game in charge. Not sure how appealing that would be when he's currently in one of the most secure jobs in the country. Also think Burnley will have more spending power than Sunderland which I'd imagine would be quite important as a manager.
-
Think you may well be right there. Should just put them all back down at pitch side like in the olden days when they would all sit huddled under that tin roof at the front of the Leazes. Apart from taking the odd football square to the face I don't recall any serious injuries.
-
Would be a big step down for him. Burnley appear to be a very well run club.

I was watching Stoke v Swansea the other night and noticed they've taken out the aisle way from the centre section of the stand opposite the camera which has increased capacity by a few hundred. With the prospect of serious expansion of SJP now looking very unlikely a cheap, cost effective way of adding 2-3,000 to the capacity could be to reconfigure the lower tiers of the Gallowgate, Leazes, and Milburn (paddocks) so that they are the same as the lower tier of the East Stand by simply taking away the aisle way that runs the full length of the lower tiers of those stands (effectively splitting them in half) and replacing them with an extra few rows of seats? I remember when they took the boxes out of the East Stand and replaced them with seats it increased the capacity of the stand by around 1k. No doubt there's a reason they can't do it because it just seems so obvious.

The thing is, that would be fine if it hasn't spilled out into most other threads recently. Everything seems to be us vs them at the moment, and its really freaking annoying. Not something I've noticed tbh. You were comparing us to them in the league cup game thread I think I've got myself a little stalker here

They're our rivals. Always have been, always will be. That's just the way it is. If a topic on here doesn't interest me I simply don't open it.
-
Says the person who's opened the thread, read right the way through it and then posted on it. Football is all about rivalries and tribalism. It's one of the things that makes it great and sets it apart from all other sports.

They were singing it in the pubs down Barnsley beforehand but it didn't make it inside the ground.
-
They have a decent fanbase because they let so many people in for nowt or next to nowt. Their annual gate receipts of £10.5m are on a par with Hull City and dwarfed by the likes of Southampton. If a new owner came in, put the admission prices in line with most other PL clubs and cut out the 1000s of freebies they wouldn't get 30k in for run of the mill matches.

Sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully we'll do him proud. -
The caption underneath the bottom photo says; "Ray with his son Alan Reed and his granddaughter Leyla Reed" but he's just sat there in his chair with two hairy arsed blokes stood behind him
