  1. Liking the idea, we could set a date, do a countdown (so we/people could get shot of their Makem related ranting) and then leave it as a post-free zone for as long as possible. In recognition of how much interest they (currently? ever?) deserve. Maybe an occasional/weekly tumbleweed image would be ok. But nothing else allowed. Could do the same with the Pardew thread whilst we're on.
  2. The city of Sunderland was the face of Brexit, that's the reality of it. Those celebrations when the result was announced
  3. I very much doubt they will be. Crazy booking up this early for Brighton when it's odds on that the fixture will be moved. Seems fairly daft that they've scheduled Championship games that weekend. How many are actually going to take place? 2-3 at the most i'd reckon. There was 3 took place on 4th round day last season. Like you say, pointless scheduling Championship games for that weekend.

  5. Could have all been avoided if they'd just given us a fair allocation in the first place.
  6. http://i63.tinypic.com/in7tzq.png Spurs fans not taking to him by the sounds of it.
  7. They definitely seem to be getting the rub of the green these past few weeks.
  8. Loads of people on twitter saying they've managed to get tickets in the Hull end without any problem. Apparently you can even print your tickets out yourself.
  9. If it's showing no events it'll be a problem with the site. Possibly maintenance? I'd just check again tomorrow and it should be up and running.
  10. Membership should be scrapped TBH, its stupid. Not many advantages for members really although I suppose if you go to 10+ home games a season it pays for itself.
  11. This is just the season that keeps on giving!
  12. ST holders should always get priority over someone paying £30 a year for a membership.
  13. I can't really see how anyone can have an argument against this.
  14. Sympathise with you there mind as you're putting in the miles, and spending your time and money without any reward (in terms of loyalty points).
  15. As I've explained, even this season there's the opportunity to earn around a dozen loyalty points. No system is totally fair, and there's always some people out there who will abuse it, but the current way of rewarding the fans who spend the most time and money travelling the length of the Country is still the fairest. You've been to one away game. One of our more local ones with a Saturday 3pm kick off and therefore you have one point. That shouldn't give you priority over someone who travels week in week out, doing the likes of Norwich away on a Wednesday night etc. Noticeably these complaints have only came about this season which begs the question, why didn't these moaners pipe up about it last season or the one before that? The answer is that they didn't bother going back then because we weren't winning. If they had done they would have quite a few loyalty points behind them now.
  16. Wigan already down to zero points. Not sure what the allocation is but i'd think there's a good chance it goes to members. 4,800. It'll definitely go to members and quite probably general sale with it being midweek and less than 2 weeks to Xmas. These are the type of games people need to attend to build up their loyalty points total. I'm certain Blackburn will too! Aye. Despite the massive demand for away tickets now and every game selling out, come the end of the season I bet around 10-12 matches will have gone to zero points so there'll have been the opportunity even for someone buying a ST for the first time this season to be sat on over 10 loyalty points by May. Surprised that there's people out there so stupid to expect to never bother with away games then spit the dummy because they couldn't get a ticket for Leeds ahead of those who've traipsed up and down the country year after year for very little in return.

  18. Seen Brighton twice this season and haven't been impressed either time. Thought they were very poor up here when we beat them 2-0 and watched them against Aston Villa on Friday night and they were lucky to get a point. If they're our nearest challengers I'm not concerned at all.
  19. I know of someone who bought a season ticket at sunderland so that he could attend the Derby in the 95/96 season when away fans were banned. EDIT 96/97 season
  20. Not showing up online without signing in. Quite a few people on twitter have been saying it's just a general sale now with no restrictions and that they've been able to view the seating plan and book tickets and that the stadium still looks very empty. I've never checked myself to be honest
  21. Apparently tickets are now available to everyone. No booking history required. Hull have made a right mess of this.
  22. Looks like I'll have 1 spare ticket for this if anyone needs one. EDIT Quite a few people have been in touch for it so I've got a taker for it now thanks.
  23. Not sure what it'll be like on Sunday but I thought our last few visits down there had very little hostility towards us to the point where on our last couple of trips we were stood drinking with Leeds fans in the pubs around Elland Road which was always a no go in years gone by. Even when we beat them 4-3, coming back from 3-1 down we were mingling with them outside with no bother at all afterwards. In saying all that it's one of those places that's easy enough to find bother if you want it.
