Noticed when Moyes was getting interviewed that they've now got Satsuma Loans and the Provvy on board as sponsors and not one thing has been said about this in the media as opposed to when we got in bed with Wonga and everyone had an opinion about it. Hardly surprising considering the way they were allowed to get away with knowingly fielding a paedophile just because he was one of their best players but even so, it still smacks of double standards.

Things must be serious over there because NUFC are barely getting a mention when usually we dominate that board. Looks like losing the pervert derby has really hit them hard.

And less than Hull who have a 25k stadium and never fill it!

Bollocks was there. They've literally plucked that figure from thin air 1000s upon 1000s of empty pink seats all over. 35,000 at most there today and that's despite them handing out 5k free tickets to underprivileged kids and to various workplaces across the North East through their Foundation of Light charity.

Biggest club game he could ref, don't see why not I bet the majority of songs will be Newcastle related Goes without saying.

Think I'll give the battle of the beasts a miss today. Whoever's controlling the volume on the microphones will be busy today with all the paedo chants going back and forth. 2-0 to the beasts in stripes is my prediction anyway.

I'm going to this. First home game I've attended in years. 3-0 -
Nah f*ck them. The stick we got off Palace fans for our treatment of Pardew (which was totally deserved) means I hope they have to suffer him for a long while yet.

We haven't had much luck with these De Jongs have we? Let's hope there's not another De Jong brother out there.

And against Reading Anita was out of position and left for dead more than a few times. As I said your entitled to your opinion and I have mine but I will say neiher currently should be first choice. I think Anita is a shocking player full stop in whatever position he plays and I feel he should have been out of this club well before now. Each to their own though as I say. Anita's place here should be as an emergency right back and nowhere else. -
Hopefully one of Middlesbrough's centre halves puts him out for the season. Would rather see someone do that after the transfer deadline. Aye that's a better suggestion like.

Yesterday probably brought back memories of 35,000 of us chanting "Jaap Stam, ugly man" at him at Wembley in the Cup Final back in 1999. s*** chant considering the result. Forgot you're only supposed to chant when you're not getting beat. -

I can see why he did it. We just needed to win today and get some points on the board. How we did it was irrelevant.

Don't agree on those two, Mbemba did ok and was certainly the best defender there, but he made a couple of silly mistakes that could have caused us real problems. Perez was chasing down the defence/keeper as much as Gayle and running in behind. Unfortunately a lot of passes to him where lumped up in the air, he does look out of form, but I can't say he looked like he wasn't trying or out of his depth. Fair play everyone sees what they see but I don't understand how you can say Perez was trying, he never pressed the game once and it was evident because he was only one not actually doing it, I don't rate him as such anyway but regardless I was shocked at how bad and disinterested he actually looked. Prime example was when Gayle was doubled up on right on the corner spot and Perez was standing about 20 yards away for the entire time he was battling and didn't make himself available, it was shocking and wasn't the only instance of this. Gayle is as small if not smaller and goes up for absolutely every ball, Perez barely makes an effort and his feet rarely leave the ground, it might be cliche but the championship will be completely out of his depth if he doesn't learn to get stuck in to the game. Perez will be dropped, rightfully so, once Mitrovic is back. -
