For me he had a "chance " of saving us, as no doubt did you,;we in truth thought he would. I admit the mind set of the club seems to have changed with his introduction but ultimately results will like every manager around these days decide if he is successful. Rafa Benitez wasn't the reason we were relegated or a significant which is what you seem to be asserting and which people have issue with. For me the majority of our problems have been because we're threadbare in the middle tbh in recent years. It seems shelvey can't be relied on and I hope that Diame can contribute though I know very little of him (irrelevant I suppose). Once again we're starting off lacking - I think mitro will make a big difference and provide more support but our midfield as it is will just crumble and make nothing for him if not addressed.
