Aye, for Rafa, the Norwich handball and then the Aguero header. Maybe the Colo one at the mackems way back was the biggest though. Thing is as long as your defenders are fucking balls and allow players to have the opportunity to handle it outside your box, luck won't go your way.

Turned the corner.

At least it would take out a few SD signs. -
He's got to be given the right paints first though.
-
Because he is the painting from ghostbusters

charnley and Carr sticking around is not a good sign.

It all hinges on whether you think Rafa can be a success here long term. Given what he's up against I'd say no unfortunately. Lee Charnley looks like he's staying above him for one. It's completely hypothetical though so if he does stay at least we'll have a decent manager until the inevitable happens.

Boom. Having Rafa isn't going to make the man with ultimate power a better owner or more competent. He still has the same motives and flawed intentions. Rafa will negate that for a little while but people are talking like he could build something or have us challenging for stuff. Can't see it myself at hate having that outlook.

Define realistic protest and low hanging fruit? By virtue of your last few phrases you seem to assert that some forms of protest to of be detrimental to the clubs survival.

I get why b is getting support. We've got for a long time a world class manager. Unfortunately the quality of coach isn't the fundamental long term problem. That said if he went, it's unlikely we'd get along he same calibre anytime soon.

Make no mistake, it may well swing in our favour but it's not going be a case of just both parties pulling in the same direction. This bunch will always push for some upper hand.

Having my to constantly Chinese burn your leadership into making remotely the right choices is not sustainable going forward, so doesn't bode well for the future. Just like the 80 million people are taken by this as a turning point - I can't let myself think that however compelling. Tough one but a. We can't have nice things for long. Would love to be wrong. Either way, this is arguably the biggest moment of Ashley's tenure. As the excellent .com column says paraphrased it could well be the last delaying tactic Ashley will ever have.

Mmmm...just give him what he wants you daft cunts
-
It's always been down to the club for the most part.

Of course everyone has their own perogative. I find it strange when people moan so vociferously about the state of things on one hand but then will shout down any form of protest. seems all very short sighted - we all want to enjoy the experience.
-
I 100% reckon he'll stay if he gets it. It not the fans that'll swing it; he's sold on that front. As long as charnley is still here I'm also 100% sure he'll not get the control he wants.

We are a much bigger club than Swansea, Southampton or Stoke it could be argued, but they are now established PL sides who for the most part haven't been flirting with relegation year on year and who seem to have a strategy for some improvement on and off the pitch. We are owned by an idiot, ran by idiots and have no strategy or plan in place (any that makes sense anyway) for improving. Watford could easily fall into the 'Stoke' category of sides if they get their next appointment correct. Playing the we are bigger than you card needs some revision in my opinion. Far 'bigger' clubs than the Watfords of this world have been languishing in the second tier of football for years now. To dismiss the Watford link smacks of arrogance to me. Thanks to Ashley we really are a toxic choice. I wouldn't dismiss them becuase of that, i would rule them out because they change their managers so often that it wouldn't suit Rafa at all. Especially if he's looking to build something somewhere, Watford is 100% not the place for him to do that. You'd argue that we're not in the habit of being builders either. Not that I think he's off to Watford.

As long as Charnley is still here, it's a ringing alarm bell that change won't happen. If you are shifting from models of failure. That guy is 1st against the wall.
