  1. They say never go back but we need Erik Dornhelm and Billy Eliot’s dad back imo
  2. Worked as a secretary too, before. My sources tell me he use to wear really short skirts behind front desk. Random. ‘Mikes ready for you now, mr kinnear...’
  3. I mean that makes a depressing read anyway but to equate a paper manufacturer to an autocratic crown prince who has his family under house arrest and apparent murder of journalists doesn’t balance out. My passport is the same as mike Ashley’s but hopefully the comparisons end there. Ashley’s description ?
  4. With respect it’s because with a lot of merit those arguments are irrelevant, ignore the issue and are tantamount to yeah it’s bad but what about...?’ Sheffield United have investment from Saudis but not the the ones who are definitely in charge of bombing Yemen and called for killings pretty much directly. Governments of Russia, China, Vatican City or whoever aren’t buying football clubs. If there isn’t a difference then it smacks of cognitive dissonance. How is pointing out that our own government sells arms to these people "ignoring the issue". I dont think I have heard one fan say, "love the saudis, me, stand up people." Most of us are just saying; with respect, why should I feel guilty about being owned by the Saudi government if our own government is prepared to deal/welcome them? It's absolutely relevant in my eyes and people using "whataboutery", are avoiding debate. Literally debated every point made by you bar the royalty one and hey you won’t get anyone criticise government and warped hypocrisy of monarchy more than I but neither the queen nor the british government are buying the club. Citing other teams is the very definition of whatabout as it’s a rhetorical way of circumventing the actual issue. I’m not blaming the fans btw - it fucking sucks. I’d sooner us share a pint and not worry about human rights.

Don’t get me wrong abramovich is a wrongun close to Luton but he’s copped plenty flak and putin isn’t buying us anytime soon.
  6. What about sunrise What about rain What about all the things that you said We were to gain What about killing fields Is there a time?
  7. A headscarf would take years off wills like
  8. Depends who from. I don’t think the likes of your Barney Ronay’s and amnesty’s of this world would give a fig about it. Cunts who flymow their knuckles like Richard keys however...
  9. The mag don’t have an editorial line and if you submit something it gets published. Have written some myself. Quality varies ?
  10. The reaction as much as the sin is making me increasingly conflicted on this. It’s amnesty ffs.
  11. Does the fan in the final frame boycotting and beekeeping only for Mike Ashley to come in a takeover with no say not raise the exact point about helplessness many are making.
  12. Doesn’t the last panel infer that rich folk can do what they want at any time? Bit more nuanced than you think. Still scathing like.
  13. Seeing as the players are so brainwashed into Rafas methods I doubt there’ll be a problem in his return ‘Give wa a chance these lads a shite cuz Rafa’
  14. Sports neglect as a sporting entity would certainly have seen an enhanced reputation imo
  15. The fact it keeps cropping up on here seems to indicate it can’t be the echo chamber some prefer. Emo crywank ffs. Even if you don’t agree with the arguments don’t pretend it’s trivial. Ashley’s a cunt - delighted to see the back of him.
  16. I think you either accept it or you don't, as soon as you start the discussion on morality then you begin from a losing position, as the negatives of the regime currently outweigh the positives. Trying to justify if or overtly celebrating it (please no headscarves ) is just painting us in a bad light. This is where I’m at. Similar to how I wouldn’t plaster wonga all over myself or go on like Steve wraith is with Saudi craic
  17. It’s almost as if these issues across threads are linked in some way...
