It'll never not make me properly fewm. the defence of Bruce is one thing but suggesting he's done better than Rafa, just thick as fuck, man. I thought I'd give that GallowgateShots podcast a go as I'd never listened to it before and wanted to hear what that lawyer lass had to say. Stuck with it through one of them saying "the football under Rafa (I think we can all agree lololol) was awful," but switched it off at "Bruce had done a great, well, a phenomenal job this season." Can't get away with it at all, my ears start bleeding at even a hint of credit. I'm a very bitter lad. They strike me as very comfortable with the club as anyone. They repeat lines re: transfer policy etc. almost verbatim. I’m not a massive fan of their format mind either.

Didn’t put this but close. I had to include Rafa because aside from the rename is was the single greatest indicator of what he wanted the club to be about.

Seems a clamour to keep these threads into separate echo chambers based on pretty much the same topic which I find odd. The issues conflate because they are linked. I take issue with people flying Saudi flags trivially, however they mean it because I would argue they haven’t thought it through or are hearing the gravity of the other side of the issue. Fans aren’t responsible, that’s ludicrous but I think some are using as an easy cop out not to bother hearing the other side of things - admittedly based off social media.

For me whether it was the actions that forced his or not isn’t really the hill worth dying on - it was the right fight to have at the time and and gave them pause for thought however fleeting. They reacted directly enough to protest each time in some small way. The thick and thin narrative was I’ve no doubt a reason Ashley bought us in the first place. He’s proved that you debase the club and product and people would still pile in a surround the ad boards’ ahl wi smilin faces’ for the most part. Absolute parasite and whatever I think about the new lads( ?????)will be glad to see the back of him
