It would be "yeah, you've had an excellent season, but that's one bad game and it's time to sling your hook". Not gonna happen. He won't be dropped but that sort of switch of personnel is part and parcel of being a footballer isnt it?

Should be professional enough to understand he's had a shitter and a change may need to be tried. I wonder if in all honesty if he believes himself to be competent in that position. That's not me having a go because he has exceeded my expectations, but I don't believe that he truly perceives himself as a genuine left-back. That said he won't be dropped.
