" the car story i heard was he was shown round the mercedes( or something like that ) garage at the price range the club had for him, the £40-50 k motors and he said no thanks, i want something higher £80 -100 k, Varney or Murray said we've never had a request like that before and Pardew's response was, well you've never had a manager like me before" Haven't heard all this, but the story I heard was about how he ripped up plans to improve the changing facilities for the youngsters at sparrow lane and diverted the money to have his own private shower room built never ceases to amaze me"

Holy fuck. They actually believe this -
He might get sacked, if/ when we're relegated.

Aye, but I think it' much more ( though admittadly not quite universally) accpeted, that Allardyce, is at best average. I hate them both.

It's completely understandable for people to hate Pardew. He has that quality, about him. Obviously this stems from the way the media, have portrayed him as this fantastic manager, and the way we've had our noses rubbed in every win he has had there. I don't think it has no significance, either, it's much harder to erase the myth that Newcastle fans are delusional, expect too much, or fickle, when his bullshit is being peddled as gospel. In my opinion it had a discouraging affect on some fans (not all), when it came to protesting against him and ultimately removing him from the club. Therefore it's important for us to be able to say,"look at Pardew, we were right about him", so that when the next one comes along we can, protest or even simply, voice our concern with out being ridiculed. I understand,we should be worrying about our own club, and we should, and many do, but there's nothing wrong with, celebrating potential Pardew's downfall, either.

Don't know much, about guerreiro, but although umitti, is supposed to be good, isn't he quite short ? That would be a worry, as it's no secret, we need a commanding cb alongside mbemba
-
I wouldn't say "perfect", because I don't like the fact we're still shit. A relegation trio of villa, an Allardyce managed SUnderland, and Pardew managed Palace, would be as good as we are ever likely to see. I think their early season form will be enough to see them stay up unfortunately, plus obviously with Bolasie coming back too.

they better not come back to get something from this

What's Pardew doing now.......just hoping ??? No changes when we can all see its not working....clueless. This is getting beyond a joke now. Pardew has got no clue whatsoever and this is effectively game over now. Never thought I'd say this, but it's looking grim. So, what managers are available at the moment? 3-0 down getting absolutely spanked and no change in tactic f:J:JK:ing hell are yopu kidding me g does P@@ardew actually believe we will get something out of this w#'-.r I have to agree that tactically this is a shambles. 4-4-2 doesn't work in the modern game - certainly not when the two upfront are both target men and both of them have the first touch of a brick wall. It also won't work when you have a left sided midfielder that wants to play in the middle exposing the left back that is in fact a right back playing out of position. What frustrates me most about the whole thing is I look at their team and think individually they are no better than us so how can they actually pass the ball to each other and we can't? What's happened?? We don't defend we don't attack we don't f***ing close down and we are incapable of passing. How do you look like a good attacking team for one half of a season and then look like a f***ing pub team who just whack a ball across a pitch for 90 minutes for the rest of it.This isn't bad it's f***ing disgraceful.I never slate the team ever on here but what I've witnessed for the last 2-3 months is shocking but this performance beats it all.To me this is down to management. You have Pardew coming out every week saying we was unlucky blah f***ing blah which don't help too.He said during the week that one or two wins from the next three will do.Fans don't want to hear that they want to see a team go out to win every game. We haven't looked like we've gone to win s*** for months.Im f***ing fuming.Ive snapped.Rant over.

Not sure, I think the fan base are fairly united on this one that Mcclaren isn't good enough. As far as I'm aware that hasn't been one jot of dissent aside from Watford (and that was at the players). Perhaps not, I was surprised by the away fans reaction that defeat at the end, but I don't know anyone that wants him to stay. My facebook feed was full of status' about wanting him to go yesterday, and people are p*ssed off with his post match interview.

Think there are a lot of good options there, not sure who would be best in the short term though, which is what we need. Keegan would be great, but that obviousely isn't happening

How come ?
-
Aye, he is here until the bitter end unfortunately.

Mcclaren has had a bad away record through out his managerial career, hasn't he ?
