Great goal

Not sure what has happened with him - but is anyone going to move for Mitroglou? I couldn't really work out what happened with him at Fulham, but I would have thought you would be able to get him for a decent enough sum?
-
These straight forecasts for the groups are bloody addictive... the odds just lure me in.
-
You can do it manually by laying on Argentina. So if the odds go down on Argies, you just lay them £2 or something like that. Cheers - I only put money on Chile on the basis that I thought they would get out of their group instead of Netherlands and hopefully their odds would go down a bit.
-
Quick question for those who use Betfair - if I have put money on Argentina to win the World Cup and Chile to win the World Cup (2 quid on each one), how do I cash out one bet but not the other? When I go onto Betfair it seems to suggest I need to cash out both bets and not just one of them. Apologies if I have missed something obvious or being a complete simpleton.

Too many bets and too much indecision... I keep loading up bets and then cancelling them.

I don't think you can compare Colback to Jenas. At least Jenas had the potential to be a very good player. Colback doesn't.
-
Agree with this - he has definitely made his fair share of mistakes, but there's definitely a very good defender in there.
-
I do think Jenas had the potential to be a better player than he turned out to be. I remember him having an absolute stormer vs Juventus in Champions League (I think Davids ended up being subbed?) and thought that would be the making of him.
-
He really really isn't.

There are no words.

Nobody is, per se. What would you judge them on? There isn't anything really until they have had a decent crack at managing a team (which lasts more than 8 games).
-
Not sure why you would judge a manager by their MOTD punditry - it's a hardly the right forum for indepth tactical analysis and has never been presented as such.
-
I really want him to make the cut - will be brilliant to see him there.
-
He clearly isn't utter shit, as some are making out.
-
Kenwynes over the fans after breaking his goalscoring duck after 38 games.
-
Just having a look at some of the squads for the World Cup - what's happened to the Dutch? Their squad looks really average. Am I underestimating some of their players?
-
Could have given Sissoko the same shirt as Debuchy and Remy.

I think the two with a proper AM worked very well. Throw in a real striker - some attacking wide men and we are laughing. Without a genuinely creative player (e.g. not Colback) it's too lacking I agree. I don't want to see Tiote-Anita-Colback in the same side. This basically.

 As if Viera and Petit had no scoring or creative duties, man. They were most certainly primarily there as defensive midfielders. Sure they were both box to box midfielders but their primary function was to defend. Vieira and Petit scored a total of 4 goals in their double winning season. :)

Arsenal with Vieira and Petit. That's one PL example. I am sure there are others if I was to think about it. I still haven't quite worked out the point of this argument though. Having 4 attacking players can be enough (ie two wingers and two strikers). As I have said, it is likely that one of your strikers would play a more withdrawn role and play a more 'Beardsley-esque' role which would effectively create a 4-2-3-1 at times.
