  1. Great point, away from home as well Surprised didn't see Shelvey play second half though
  2. Don't particularly know what the tactic is with that lineup I don't see where our attacking threat comes from this
  3. I hate this lot. One of the teams I dislike the most in this division. Exes dad was a massive Evertonian, she was scouse Dude never liked me because of my ethnicity, never met me once. Sadly probably won't beat them this time. Cunt.
  4. At no point should anyone forget how much we bought this lad for and how hes already paid back that fee many times in the past Having said that, the consistency at the highest level is just not there from this guy.
  5. Oko dokko He's right though. Certainly doesn't mean we wouldn't have lost but Manquillo and Atsu really should not be anywhere near the pitch At no point during this game did I go “oh yeah this is all due to manquillo and atsu.” Today exposed the Ashley regime for what it is, a wheelbarrow held together by duct tape, wobbly wheels, filled with cheap dollar store tat, given to Rafa to maneuver to the top of the Himalayas. I understand our squad are a limited average bunch but at what point have the likes of Atsu or Manquillo ever done anything remotely positive anytime as of late? This is not their sole responsibility but they arguably offer very little compared to other options at Rafa's disposal.

  7. I'm not overly fussed by this, Rondon seems like hes the perfect physical presence that Rafa requires up top Mitrovic was pants for us. You can argue all the reasons in the world, for the amount of games he played for us and the return that was provided from him, it was more than warranted to sell.
  8. Wow, Fulham just got royally fucked there.
  9. Robbed, joke decision, claim to be best league in the world but still don't have VAR, the refs need the help
  10. I'd have rather Fulham win tbh, you know they will buy themselves out of trouble in January anyway
  11. This is my idea of the perfect weekend
  12. They won't go down, their owner will invest in January
  13. One goal will win this game, lets just hope luck is on our side
  14. Apathetic to this now. Totally could not give a fuck when their second went in. Gone are the days that awful gut feeling when the opposition score.
  15. 1 shot on target all game. Fuck me. The Shelvey one from our own half..
  16. Fact of the matter is we cannot attract with any inkling of ambition in the long run with this owner, we may as well focus only on players who perform well enough to use us as a stepping stone.
  17. What decisions did Benitez make in the transfer window exactly that he should be reconsidering. Do enlighten me. Murphy has been a terrible signing so far. Muto has not had the impact you want from him given the fact he cost more than our average net spend. Letting Mitro go instead of trying to gel a system around him (I was not a fan of Mitro at all but its clear that he has some impact at this level). Look man, Rafa as impeccable as he has been in coaching poor quality players so far, overall I don't find that he has been remarkably astute in the transfer market for us. I'm assuming Muto and Rondon will actually come good once they are up to speed, otherwise they were pointless signings. If they can't get in the team ahead of Joselu and Perez for any other reason than fitness, that would represent pretty poor judgement on Rafa's part. I will obviously give credit to signings like Dbravka & Fernandez, but yes, exactly that. Considering what was spent on players like Muto & Murphy, these should be starters. We literally cannot afford bedding players in slowly, we cannot afford paying that much money on a regular basis. These need to be coached into what they were paid for and quick, otherwise they will be bad transfers. At least Murphy looks that way as it goes.

  19. Dare I say should have kept the negativity to a minimum if he was going to see out his last year and tried to maybe reconsider some of his decisions in the transfer window?
  20. Muto & Murphy on the bench, signings that cost more than what we usually spend... I don't know about Rafa being blameless. Murphy about to come on, hope he does something
