  1. Wayne "better footballer than Shearer" Rooney there
  2. Thought about that few times, would take him if that's what it comes down to
  3. Aston Villa 1-1 Man Utd Southampton 2-1 Everton Spurs 1-0 Stoke Sunderland 1-1 Norwich Swansea 1-2 Newcastle Watford 1-0 West Brom West Ham 3-1 Leicester Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal Man City 2-2 Chelsea Liverpool 1-0 Bournemouth
  4. Is he currently in the first team? No. Then they are not going to get £15m for him. At some point he'll want a move and Spurs will probably have to sell at a lower price. You can put a premium price tag on a player who is starting every week, but if he's on the bench you can't really expect to keep him indefinitely. I'm guessing they'll be willing to let him go if they sign a few more in his position, but until then he'll be overpriced.
  5. A Spurs fan told me a few weeks ago they wouldn't be happy with taking any less than 15m for him. They really only have three players who can play on the wing if you let him go and that's including Eriksen. Don't see them interested in selling unless it's stupid money.
  6. Surprised Brendo would get new teeth, but not a new nose https://instagram.com/p/5zwzBTJfEa/?taken-by=liverpoolfc
  7. You can still watch replays of games on their website fyi. The main fact behind how good they've been is the Premier League has grown over here more than it ever did on Fox because it's not stuck a specialty channel.
  8. Arlo and his desire to make everything sound incredible important and amazing is annoying, but him and Kyle Martino are small negatives to take for the increase in production value.
  9. NBC is awesome. They've given us every bit of ability to see any game in the PL via the web through their site, their app on android, windows, iOS, and their TV coverage via NBC, NBCSN, Extratime or other NBC affiliated networks. We're lucky as fuck to have it. I even cut the cord recently and got rid of DirecTV and just bought Apple TV and I can still watch every game without having to mess around with LiveExtra. ? confused. Isn't the app on the Apple TV called Live Extra? Also, you still need a sub to watch using such an app, no? Using some elses? Yeah I'm using my parents uverse, plus have a few backup options. I imagine most people could find someone willing to let them use theirs, but that could just be a perk of coming from a stable middle class family. It's liveextra still, but it's different than just streaming it through my laptop and mirroring the screen on my tv. Not as lagy, quality is better, and no annoying ad/black bar at the top of the screen when going fullscreen.

  11. I think you're the only person I've heard who likes Fox more then NBC. Fox couldn't get even give us HD, or even close to every game. Eric Wynalda works them ffs, it was awful, they're studio show was just as bad if not worse. Robbie Mustoe is very fair pundit too, it's honestly the only studio show of any sport over here I can stomach. And they still air the Premier League Review Show plus their own version of Match of the Day. They do have an annoying big club bias, which has also morphed into a weird Everton obsession and Southampton isn't far behind. But it would've been just as bad on Fox and ESPN.
  12. Hopefully most Americans will put down their $5 dvd's and watch the league now: http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/10/nbc-sports-agrees-to-six-year-extension-as-exclusive-home-of-premier-league-in-the-us/?utm_network=twitter&utm_post=4055073&utm_source=TW%20%40NBCSportsSoccer&utm_tags=srm%5Bsoccer%2Carticle%5D Six more years on NBC, thankfully, distinctly the best Premier League broadcaster we've had.
  13. Exactly the same here. I refuse to see it just because of this, one friend in particular is still singing Forever Blowing Bubbles just because he loved the movie six years ago.
  14. http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/highly-rated-holland-international-makes-flying-visit-to-newcastle-1-7402142 Make it happen
  15. Decent enough, our weaknesses were pretty apparent, defending in the air in particular. No creative spark after their second either, just a lot of passing around before we eventually fucked it up, De Jong probably the wrong sub in that regard. Good game though, and a decent start for McClaren.
  16. Shane Long is exactly the type of player who will score against us.
  17. He really does. Always reminded me of this guy. http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100214234030/harrypotter/images/e/e3/Gringotts_Head_Goblin.jpg
  18. Surprisingly good half, especially considering the attacking talent on the bench. Backline still needs work, of course. Mitrovic to win it in front of the Gallowgate pls
  19. Slightly concerned by how far behind my broadcast, but I guess I'll take a goal
  20. He's an absolute class player, desperately needs to work on his decision-making. Yeah he had like a minute there during the game where he gave the ball away three times. A lot of potential though.
  21. Pretty entertaining set of 3PM kickoffs considering the teams involved.
