  1. Surprisingly no, didn't seem like many showed up though
  2. It's hilarious that the game is in serious need of a shakeup and the only ideas leagues and governing bodies have just make it worse. I always think about how CL winners have about three days to celebrate with their team before they jet off to international duty. There's no other sport I know of where the highest annual prize gets tossed aside so quickly. Players are seriously overworked and somehow the only idea people in charge have is more games/travel. As I said last time they tried to do this, people in the US, India, and China become fans become of the tradition and culture around English football. Take that out of England and you've lost all of it. Why the hell would I want to see a PL game without the atmosphere? How is this bringing the game to more people when those who could even afford to go to these games are also the few who can afford going abroad to watch one? This doesn't help anyone except for the usual suspects.
  3. Forgot who on here suggested it, but I followed the logic of early goals in the Europa/Conference league. Over 1.5 in the first half of Copenhagen/Lincoln, Celtic/Bayer, Spurs/Mura. Won $78 from $10.
  4. Guess they couldn't make it too obvious
  5. Yikes. Somehow there's always clubs worse than us
  6. Newcastle-like collapse from Celtic
  7. I've also only experienced the MA era. Not sure what the hell I'm still doing
  8. City of Blinding Lights was used in a great 2006 World Cup commercial over here. Loved it ever since.
  9. Spotted a Yanga-Mbiwa shirt in the wild in Chicago. There are dozens of us.
  10. Definitely feels like Sargent would've been better off going to the Netherlands or a mid-table German club. Kind of wild we have no No. 1 striker but a pool of like five players who could be that guy. I really need to know how bad pitches are in Central America for it to take an entire half for professional players to adjust to it. I know from experience these dudes have played on some terrible fields in their time in US youth soccer.
  11. I think all five of these things happened and we won. Deuce for head coach
  12. I don't think his job is on the line or anything but wild lineup when the pressure is on
  13. Have a $5 free bet so joining in on the fun. Just did Milenkovic and Calhanaglu
  14. Somehow every other club, clubs that also went through COVID, can sign multiple permanent first-time players, but we're saying it's the reason we can't even afford loans. fuck off
  15. They already have some pretty terrible hot dogs/sausages at SJP so the foundation has been laid
  16. honestly this club just gets better and better. it's amazing we've only been relegated twice under Ashley
