Aye, here's to 13 more years of being s***. We've been s*** throughout most of our history other than for a few years at the start of the 1900s, the 1950s, a few years in the mid 90s and a few years at the start of this Century. So about 20/25 good years out of 128! And here we have our best chance ever to become one of the best clubs in the World, but fuck that. We don't have a chance. It's not going through and it never was. Of course I'd have loved this takeover to happen mate but I'm also a realist. Quite a statement. I'm sure you can understand why I hope you're massively wrong God I wish we knew nothing of this bid from the start! But so desperate are we that we've got people monitoring companies house and airports. I hope I'm wrong too as well mate but I don't see how it can go through and the WTO report, which is what the PL are waiting for so they can formally reject it, will be the final nail (all my opinion). Lots of do called ITKs on here and Twitter who weren't actually ITK at all, simply persons fishing for likes and clicks will end up losing a lot of credibilty I feel. Weren't you ITK like a month ago saying it would be rejected? I don't really think the report going public matters much, the PL have it, if they have grounds to reject it based on that report they could just reject it. They don't need the report to be public. Also wouldn't make sense for them to be waiting for it while also asking the buyers piracy questions just last week.

Pretty sure that's NewcastleGoals or w/e new account, so it's absolutely not true

This looks like the old AYSO jerseys I used to wear
-
Nevermind then, looks like it's actually done. Could be lethal next season if their midfield and front three/four can stay healthy
-
Yeah not much in there, just Masters responding to Cengiz in formal letter saying “However, I assure you and your client that her representations are being fully considered in our process.”
-
Sounds like it's up to Liverpool to match or better the offer. Fills a big need for Chelsea if they pull it off.
-
Calling them season cards is the real crime here
-
If anything, it sounds like hasn't made a decision because of the takeover. Otherwise he'd be off, no way under MA we're matching 30k a week.
-
We're allowed to travel longer than 90 minutes for ours
-
... would it not just be that the club is prepping their staff following confirmation that matches are to be played as part of project restart from June 1st? Or am I getting whooshed here? Yeah wasn't being serious
-
Mobilizing the stewards definitely seems like step 1 in a takeover announcement
-
Yup, it's an incredibly degrading idea, especially after they agreed not to do after the bottom 6 raised a stink.
-
It's not on the Premier League that the club isn't refunding tickets or not communicating with supporters, but I do think some of that thread is right. Letting a club sit in limbo for going on 7(?) weeks now and saying there's no urgency to finish it is a bit much.

Yeah, turns out Richard Bevan is an idiot
-
Would also be okay if we signed Weston McKennie
-
If we do become good, would love for us to sign Tyler Adams in year or so. Probably the best American prospect in Europe right now.

This is generally where I'm at. Despite the alarmists headlines from yesterday, we know the WTO report has been passed to the Premier League already, probably two weeks ago. The buyers have presumably already responded to questions about that and we're beyond the stage where that's an issue. Maybe it will ultimately be the thing that prevents the deal from going through, but we've known about it for weeks, it doesn't change anything. If the buyers haven't been informed of any red flags as of now, hopefully we're in the clear. Just have to hope their confidence isn't misplaced.
-
They have the WTO report already and have supposedly had it for two weeks. We shouldn't have to wait until mid-June because of that.
-
Tbf to him, the headline is strongest part of the story and he didn't write that. His article only says that it will just raise questions about should it go through. Either way, easier said than done, but there's just no point to following this story on a day-to-day basis. Just have to hope for the best.
-
The only new bit of information in there is the info came from the WTO. It's a weeks old report on something we already knew. Maybe it will be the reason the takeover doesn't go through, but it doesn't change anything from what we've been hearing for two-three weeks.
-
Nothing has changed since this was passed to the Premier League a few weeks ago. Just have to hope the buyer's confidence isn't misplaced.
-
I'm guessing this was the documents The Guardian reported on a few weeks ago.
-
The crowd noise is kind of nice. If I look at way from the tv for a second it feels like everything is normal.
-
Apparently Bundesliga has offered all broadcasters a chance to use it. Fox is but BT hasn't so far.

I see nufc Twitter has used these total non-comments as a reason to go into meltdown. Trying to get anything from what he said there is totally pointless. The league haven't made any comment this entire time he's not about to giveaway where they are in the process suddenly.
