I was there and went to go to the toilet at 70 mins where I was disallowed by stewards, I asked why and he pointed into the access where I saw a massive line of riot police forming. Then they kept us in the stands for 45 mins, so thats over an hour of pissed up fans not even be able to go to the toilet.. (I saw many pissing at the top of the stands as a result) The police were hitting people at virtually every access right before letting people out, ridiculous. I heard that one policeman was hitting people and actually got pulled back by other police due to the excessiveness. I saw plenty of people videoing the trouble, hopefully that would at the very least lead to an apology.

This time tomorrow will be just arriving in Lisbon. EXCITED.

Manchester to Faro Thurs, Return Sat middayish. Hotel in Lisbon sorted but not booked Faro yet. Any recommendations on where is best to stay for the Friday night??

My uncle got me an away ticket and turns out he was awarded a loyalty point fot it, I was under the impression that these were only awarded for domestic away games??

He can only play 20 minutes at a time. So it's actually closer to 1 in 10 You can't argue with stats. 1 in 3. Has never managed more than 30 league appearances in a season. Has never scored more than 9 goals in a Premier league season. Has never scored more than a total of 11 goals in all competitions in a season. Has managed 9 goals in the last 3 seasons. A good chunk of those goals are against the mackems. Long may that continue

Trying to get a ticket with my uncles ST. On the application form its asking for Passport no etc. Do people think this will be checked by the club? I'm not sure whether I should put my passport number on there or my uncles. Surely the club cannot crosscheck the passport number with the name & supporter number?

Had it. Can remember it being abit rought on the neck playing footy. Still loved wearing it at the time though (like nearly every kit back then) p.s. do remember the shirt material being lush. ALSO I always used to love picking the white bits of material out from the inside of the tops on the logos, like from inside the d's on addidas

Flying into Faro on thursday 13:10. Do people think I will be able to get the 13:41 train to Lisbon? Or is the 15:05 one more realistic? Also do you think pre-booking train tickets is wise?

I think this is what the fans want.. But the fact half the teams end up resting all their key players till the very latter stages proves that to the club, the financial reward is not good enough. A potential CL spot would help this I believe.
