We showed at home last season we're a better side than these, from start to finish we bossed the game. I think when we came away from Anfield in December (was it?) the result left a bitter taste because it was obvious we hadn't done ourselves justice. But i can honestly see it happening again.

We'll pay them far too much respect and come away getting beat, just like last season.

I don't want to criticize Pardew because of the job he's done for us up until August. We proved last season we're a decent side but this dull as dishwater 442 and the negativity that comes with it is entirely Pardews fault. I've set sky+ to record MOTD2 tonight just so i can hear what he has to say for himself.

Well that's papered over some fairly massive cracks. For about a week anyway.

We could play Steven Taylor in that position, he'd win as many headers and is more mobile. It might sound retarded but lets face it, so is starting Shola.

I was discussing the derby at work earlier with a man united season ticket holder. He was saying what a bunch of horrible, bitter arseholes man city fans are. To which i replied something like yeah but you've won 19 league titles and 3 european cups, or something like that. And most of them have came in the recent past. What's sunderlands excuse?

That stood out a mile. Cuellar went right though Ba on the edge of their box and the only two people who missed it were the ref and the linesman.

God. Basically.

I think it looked more dangerous than it actually was, and was probably somewhere between a yellow and a red. If it had happened against us, and the opposing player been awarded a yellow i don't think i'd have been too upset. All this talk from Quinn etc about it being a potential leg breaker is total bollocks, it was nothing of the sort.

Then he climbed back up and jumped out.

If he's 24 his paper round must have been fucking huge.

How much enjoyment do you get from watching NUFC?

Difficult question. I live a couple of hours away and i was a season ticket holder for a lot of years, now being a non season ticket holder it's much different. Part of me wishes my entire week would hinge on saturdays result, because when we won it was amazing. But obviously there's the other part that's glad i'm removed from it due to the lows, and prolonged shite like the start of this season. When you're going every week, and we're winning fuck me it's unbeatable! -
Pretty much. I wouldn't exactly say i'm sick of resting players but we need to get our best XI on the field and get a good win. Beating these would hopefully send us into next weekend on a high. Because so far it feels like we're still in pre season, haven't got out of 2nd gear.

Was anonymous last night.

Thanks for the video Sewelly, it's a reet bobby dazzler. Two things i noticed: 1) he doesn't score a header in the first 8 years of his career 2) he definately has a favoured penalty, but jesus wept what a penalty it is. How many keepers go low to their right but still can't get there as it slips inside the post.

whag does he do if he breaks his leg??? Rangers had some big cunt a few years back who was the same. Broke his leg and was told he'd be out for the year, so he went back home to the carribean because his witch doctor said he could magic it better and he'd be back in a fortnight. Which he was. Mind i think when he tried to kick a ball the bone popped out of his arse or something.

Who knows, i'm sursprised he hasn't been given a shot.

noone on either side can be absolved of blame. Apparently they can. No fan was at fault. Don't get me wrong, i'm not defending the police at all. What they did was despicable i just think it's mental to say they were the only ones to blame. well that's what I thought as well but it turns out the whole thing about there being ticketless fans forcing their way in is actually a myth. If that's true then i'll take back what i've said. Are we now being told that every fan in that crowd had a ticket? Because i just don't believe that to be true. Are they now saying that when the gate was opened not one single fan tried to gain entry without a ticket? Because if that's the case that's bollocks. And that's not having a dig at Liverpool fans. We'd have had plenty of people there without tckets, just look at the numbers heading to Brugge. In fact Liverpool fans did exactly the same in Athens '07.

So if i turn up in Brugge, have a wee drink (but stay sober), then attempt to illegally gain entry to the game by forcing my way in - i'm blame free?

He'll be fine man.

Shay spitting his dummy helped a lot too. I'm not saying Tim wouldn't have gone on to be Hollands #1, i'm just glad he's our #1 too.

If he bangs twenty plus goals in this season it wouldn't bother me if he was smoking dogshit.
