The only thing that really bothers me is when he trys to bring the ball out from the back, Colo-style. He attempted it a couple of times last night and just about got away with it. Just.
-
Far from the finished article, which just makes him an even better buy.

Did it look like Mikel went in to "do him"?

The only goal i've ever seen like that was roy race, circa 1986. Unfuckingbelievable.

You've never heard that yet you're qualified enough to comment on Celtics support? Don't think so. Back to what i was saying yesterday evening about the green brigade. I'd hate to sound like i'm back peddaling, because i'm not, i won't even attempt to argue the some of the songs / behaviour is remotely acceptable. I just envy the noise and in particular the flags and banners. I'd love to see similar at our place. And before any smart f***er posts the anti-poppy stuff, no i don't agree with that either. I'm with you on this mate. Some of the displays they have done are fantastic, the non-political sectarian ones at least. Would be superb to have some of that at St James Park. Edit: Are we even allowed banners/displays? When i said "superb" yesterday that's what i meant, although i knew i'd get shot down because old firm fans are disgraceful etc. Clearly the green brigade are following the example of other countries ultras. I remember a documentary years ago about lazios ultras, the planning that went into their stuff ahead of the derby was months in preparation. Glossing over the fact that some of their politics is a dubious as it gets, the actual display on matchday was awesome.

Most Celtic fans i know, for all their recent abuse hurling, do not want to see Rangers dissapear. They know it would be like Tom without Jerry. What they want however is a more Roadrunner / Coyote scenario, like Rangers enjoyed through the '90s. A prolonged period of suffering.

Flame me as much as you like, but the green brigade are superb.

Maybe you should support another team then. My post was meant to suggest that even though i think we'll get severely done at chelsea, not even that could take the shine off what has been an absoluetly fantastic season. There's no need to get pissy. I know exactly what it meant! Save the patting ourselves on the back until the end of the season eh? Might not get a better chance to make the Champions League. Rather than just not caring anymore, why not try and keep going until its over. Your attitude is a losers attitude and it fuckin boils me. Ok then.

^ This, for me too. I'm disappointed with the result, obviously. But finding it hard to be too downbeat about it. Maybe its the fact that whatever happens in the next 3 games, then 6th and Europa League is the worst we can do, and I would have taken that back in August, without doubt. I just hope today was a 'blip' and we can get something from the remaining games, so the season doesn't end with bad results. Yep exactly. Look at it like 18 points out or 21 and it's still fantastic. Aye that's the way i'm viewing it. One of those games today, let it go and look ahead.

We'll get humped. But i don't care.

He'll score tomorrow.
-
He plays like i do on pro evo.

I don't watch a ton of foreign football, so i don't know. But do the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, etc regularly run from their own half to score? Because i can't imagine they do. Correct me if i'm wrong but Ben Arfa seems a fairly unique sort of talent. The goals against Bolton and Blackburn were mindblowing, two in a season, considering he hasn't played every game and the season aint over.

Publicity machine, oh sweet jesus. My hernia AGAIN.

I didn't see that much of bayerns win last night. But they seemed to be starting sammy davis jnr at full back, which has to be a concern for us?
-
If he's the type of guy who'd go to Villa for an extra few quid then he's exactly the sort of player we don't want.
-
3'9" tall according to wiki, bit worrying.
-
Is that not the diarra that went to portsmouth and told them they were a stepping stone because he was dead good, and too good for them?
-
Nigh on impossible to do this and i've been mulling it over all day. Totally forgot i'd seen Zidane play until i read through this thread. I think it would be easier to pick my own favourite XI, but even that's too hard. I think, although i'm not sure, i seen Paulo Maldini play in a friendly around 1987 so he's definately in. But after him and Zidane i don't know. I'd pick Henrik Larsson i think. Scheichel in goal, although Shay Given is probably my favourite ever Newcastle player. I used to love watching Mark Hughes playing as a kid, but i wouldn't try to argue he was good enough to be in my team. Fuck knows!

Anyone watching Motherwell vs Celtic? Wtf have Celtic got on the back of their shirts?
-
My wife's a tim, in fact half my family are, so i've seen a shitload of this fella. And i wouldnn't have the fucker giftwrapped! No way is he good enough for a good premier lkeague side.

City have played better when the pressure's been off though. This. I don't think there's a good situation to play city. If the league is lost and they put a second string side out, it'll still be strong. But on the other hand they look fragile under pressure, so it could be beneficial to us if they're still in the running.
