However, if Ben Arfa has said something which does not support that hypothesis (like saying im 100% fit and subsequently not playing/starting. see:last season and this) then it is to be discounted immediately and ignored.

At his best Robben would comfortably make a world XI, can't say the same for Ribery. Ribery's been in the side more and has had a better season overall than Robben but Robben still looked the more dangerous player over the two legs. Robben's the more capable player. In the 11/12 season Ribery scored 15 goals and assisted 25 and is a better team player than Robben. What on earth puts Robben on a level above Ribery?
