Jesus f***ing wept.

He really was awful. But he thinks he's played his best form lately, and he has played well. Being dropped probably shook his confidence a bit, like.
-
That's a bad sign for Jonas I'm afraid He tried (and failed) to take on the fullback late in the game after they had equalized. I do like Jonas but going forward I think you'd have to give a more productive player his place in the team. Use him as a defensive winger closing out games, or as an impact sub against tired legs if he can rediscover his dribbling form.

Obviously an amazing goal. However, this guy has been shocking for some time now and gets away with it lightly. Lost the ball more times today than I can ever remember Ben Arfa doing in a match.

It's madness man... some people.

He is a right back Pardew
-
I wonder why he looked slightly off the pace. Oh wait, Pardew gives him ZERO pith time and ZERO confidence.
-
the "tactics" were fucking awful too.

Can't say I disagree. His treatment Ben Arfa has been nothing short of disgraceful.

This money in Russia is a bit crazy, wonder how long it will last.

There's always room for improvement, even for Barcelona and the likes. There's no imbalance in our team, there is simply a strong spine with not so strong wings (based on ability), but we have the drive, determination and commitment as a whole which has taken us to where we are. I bet (and this isn't personal) that 9/10 people on here will have said that they'd rather see a committed, less able team, than an able, uncommitted team and out of those 9, 4/5 of them would all say the total opposite now. People need to make their minds up. To me Ben Arfa has looked both committed and able when he has played. I would be a proponent of the committed and able team. Ben Afra (committed, able)> Raylor(committed, unable) > Obertan (uncommitted, unable)

Apart for the reason he's been largely gash and totally lazy/disinterested. Dear God. It's funny that the term HBA 'fanboy' has been coined for presenting solid and reasonable grounds on why he should play. And this is typical of what the 'other side' (ugh: hate what this has 'become') come out with- nonsense.

If Lee from Bolton recovers from injury well and Bolton are relegated he should first on our list. Potential bargain.

Not sure if that is directed at my post or not, I felt the need to put the last line in as a qualification because of people over reacting. The Pardew out/isn't a good manager mob are pathetic, but the people that respond to any minor criticism with "we're 6th, we're having a great season, how dare you moan" style posts are nearly as bad. Do you think fans never complain, criticise or analyse managers? Are we really worse than other fans in that sense? Even the likes of Man U and City will have fans that question the manager and certain decisions. Start of the season, two Spurs ST holders I know wanted Harry to go for various reasons plenty of people whinging about Fergie after the 1-6 and the 3-0 against us. Ba, Krul and Colo have been superb this season, does that mean when they f*** up or have bad games we don't speak about it, or highlight any flaws in their game? Should Pardew be exempt from criticism or something? I would love nothing more than stability, AP should get at least 2 full seasons to see where he takes us, but there are certainly areas that fans (including myself) think he can improve on. I can certainly see us progressing further under him, if he's backed by the board that is. I agree with your post but lets give Pardew some more time before we decide if he's a good manager. Certainly his career up to now is not enough to suggest he is.

No - don't think so. But we haven't played many games without him. Fair dues, but we have won games without Ba, if I remember correctly. It's easy for anyone to say Ba because of his goals, but actually our strong defensive unit was our platform for our success. From anything up until around Tottenham at home. (this isn't a go at you btw, or anyone for that matter.) Ryan Taylor has only ever been a hindrance to a defensive unit.

i can worry about a couple of things at once, this is one of them. ta So you are not worried about Argentina's stance over the Falkland Islands and another possible invasion of the islands, which we cannot allow, the way Syria is bombing and killing its own people in order to prop up a despotic dictatorship, Iran developing nuclear weapons which could very well lead to a nuclear holocaust in the middle east, as Israel are sabre rattling as I write this. Our soldiers being killed or maimed by the Taliban in Afghanistan, then there are the austerity measures imposed by the current government, the state of the Euro, and in particular Greece ( dont overlook the fact that if you plan on going to Greece for your hols this summer, you wont be able to use a credit card to pay for meals etc. Its cash only!). If none of this causes you the slightest moment of concern all I can say is you live a very insular life or you have found a very comfortable hole in the sand! Why are you so worked up about what people think of the renaming? Is it really that important to you? In the time you spent writing those 165 words you could have tried thinking of a cure for cancer. Agree with Nobody- potential worst post of the year!

Besides the second part being rubbish as has been pointed out, it's not only a hang up about Ben Arfa but the type of player he represents.
-
Can't see why any sensible and reasonable fan would suggest otherwise tbh. I'll give him the rest of he season( I mean this as in my head; do I like him going forward) to see if he properly incorporates Ben Arfa into the team. Edit: Even then I guess he could sell Ben Arfa in the summer so long as he incorporated other new flair players into the team. Which I suppose would prove that it was a personal problem with Ben Arfa rather than an objective one with that type of player.

He was not awesome at all IMO. Giving a free central role to someone with little to no end product(see: Jonas) is stupid.
