  1. Dangerous period of the game now, scrappy and PSG have lost their rhythm, feels like a Liverpool goal coming
  2. There's a huge gulf in class here like, but like others have said PSG just fuck it up in the final 3rd, miles better than Liverpool mind. Still feel PSG need a goal in saying that, as shit as Liverpool are they're always good for a fluke goal and then it all changes.
  3. Eurgh, torn over whether to watch this or not. It'll be a great hate watch if they lose, but after "only" losing 2 nil last week when it should've been at least 3, probably 4, got that horrible feeling it'll be another "one of those Anfield nights", which will make horrific viewing. Coverage is bound to be vomit inducing too, maybe I just won't bother.
  4. Got late equaliser/and winner written all over it this
  5. This should be Leeds safe now with still having Wolves and Burnley to play at home, so its now Spurs, West Ham or Forest. Forest have Burnley at home next, Spurs against Brighton, West Ham at Palace. Could look very bleak this time next week
  6. As if Man Utd are going to finish 3rd ffs and get in the Champions League, what a shit league its been this season. We had a real chance this year man.
  7. Yeah its soft as fuck, and if he pulls his shirt a hell of a lot harder than he pulls his hair then its absolutely fine, maybe a yellow, but the rules now are that pulling hair is a straight red. It wasn't an accident either it was deliberate so that's the rule
  8. And there it is, the thing we'll look back on when Leeds lose this in the last minute and think what could've been
  9. Don't think Sunderland will change their manager?
  10. Man Utd vs Leeds always felt like such a big game to me as a kid, probably still is to their fans (the Leeds fans at least) but has obviously lost a lot of its lustre with Leeds being so shit the last 20 years and Man Utd/the Premier League itself becoming so commercialised these days. Still, the fixture hits the nostalgic feels and feels like a proper match so hopefully its a decent game, and Leeds get something.
  11. It's exactly why, as funny as it'll be, that they'll walk the Championship and be straight back up. Like us they'll be able to attract players still and can still pay a bit, this could be their Matt Ritchie type signing, obviously not the same but was a big deal when he joined us in thr Championship and he was a step above, as Robertson will be in the Championship if they're there. Worth the gamble as he'll be thinking theyre straight back up
  12. Things like this can help sometimes, hes hardly been helping them this season with where they are and wouldn't normally be dropped, so being forced to play someone else with something to prove could be a good thing
  13. And is now transforming us back the other way again
  14. City pretty poor so far, certainly dont look like a side that are going to steamroll the next 8 games and make up a 9 point lead.
  15. Another massive deflection for a Mackem goal that theyve never looked like scoring, unbelievable
  16. Looks like Leicester will be playing in League One next season. Disastrous ownership over the last few years, them couple of years during Covid when they should have got in the Champions League seem like sliding doors moments, owner has lost interest by all accounts.
  17. City away at Chelsea tomorrow mind, definitely not a gimme. If Arsenal do lose this and City go on to win at Chelsea, I think that'll be pivotal and City will win the league, will be big for morale anf City will smell blood.
  18. I thought the same, but looking at their fixtures they have Wolves and Burnley at home, win both of those and they're on 39 points, that could be enough to be fair, but let's say potentially needing another couple of points as I think it could be quite high this season, they have Brighton at home and the aforementioned Spurs and West Ham away games, I think they'll just about be alright, but I am assuming they win those 2 home games.
  19. Rangers title to lose now you'd think, I know this draw puts Hearts back top but they've been dropping points regularly for a while now, dont think they'll get over the line
  20. Think Arsenals remaining games are pretty kind for them so can't see them dropping too many more points unfortunately. Will be the bottle jobs to end all bottle jobs if they do lose it from here, can't see it.
  21. Seems very similar vibes to when we hired Kinnear out the blue if it ends up being Hoddle like. Whole thing feels like us in 09, heading towards relegation and one last hope with Shearer. As funny as it would be to see them relegated, theyd walk the Championship next season, theyd have a great time (09/10 and 16/17) are probably my favourite seasons ever supporting us and id expect Tottenham to have the same Will probably end up being good for them to have a season like that, come back up happy, have a clear out, certainly did us no harm and theyre just a big a club as us with the finances etc. The days of huge clubs going down and staying down, unless financial ruin like Leeds, are over with how the finances and parachute payments etc are these days.
  22. Can't even enjoy Spurs losing properly after that shitshow earlier, just put it on and there's that smug cunt Dave Jones crowing about Sunderlands win. Wanker.
  23. He's right though, we've got a board that should be capable of assessing managers qualities in far more depth than someone called Fak or Holmesy on a football forum will. Succession planning should always be there. Theres zero chance there's no manager out there better than him that we could get, we've seen managers before come in to clubs who we havent heard of and do well, your Mourinhos and Wengers started somewhere too and in Wengers case wasn't heard of when he came over here. Same in any business, I wouldn't laugh at a customer of Asda who says management needs to change due to the state of their store but then can't name another capable CEO to come in
