Feel physically sick that they might be a Premier League side this time tomorrow. They're shite but Sheffield United aren't much better, and Sunderland looked just as good as them in the league. Still debating whether to watch it or not, think I'll avoid it and check the result, will piss me off far too much to watch them win, would outweigh watching them lose, in terms of the biggest risk. Think whether we're on or not will depend on the City game tonight. If they win we'll be on, if they don't it'll be them, Forest Chelsea, Villa Man Utd and Liverpool.

Oh 100% - I agree its a game we should be winning, I just don't think its going to be as simple as what people seem to think it will be. They've drawn 15 games this season, Pickford is a decent keeper and he'll be ridiculously fired up for it (especially if the worst happens on Saturday), theyll play with freedom and will sit back. Without Jo and Isak were not as strong. It's a bloody tough game.

Aye but the Brighton game was only a couple weeks ago and we knew what fixtures laid ahead in terms of points we would need, going back further you just don't know. By taking that point we essentially relied on other teams to drop points, which hasn't happened so we're now in the situation we're in.

The Brighton game is what's caused all these nerves and us potentially missing out. Everyone at the time saying what a great point it was, it wasn't at all as they were shite, we should have beat them but we were terrible as well. We had the chance there and then, but because we didn't we leave tough games and there's always the chance of an injury etc, we need 3 points now rather than 1, probably without Isak as well as Joelinton for those games. It's criminal how weak we are with a couple injuries, all going to come down to next week now, going to be a horrifically nervy week.

Be interesting to see the sky picks for next week, think they usually have two games and TNT one? Potentially a situation where Forest, Chelsea, Villa, Man City and us all realistically could finish between 3rd and 7th, hopefully all 4 make TV.

Must admit, much easier to watch those scenes now that we've won a trophy too, used to break my heart seeing fans like Palaces celebrating and wishing it was us. Now we've done it and know what it's like it's nice to see fans having their moment of unbridled joy.

All this hype for Goodison tomorrow is proper odd now like with it not being knocked down and still used. Like, i know Everton won't be playing there anymore themselves, but the ground isn't being knocked down, it'll still be as it is and the women will play there every other week. So you'll still see it every day, you'll still be able to go to a game there if you want etc etc. It's proper weird how they're carrying on now, can understand it if the ground was getting knocked down but it's not.

Nice to have a big match to watch where I'm not too fussed about the outcome. It's proper stressful between watching us and then hate watching the other sides, and we've still got tomorrow, Wednesday night, next Saturday and next Sunday to come so this is a bit of buffer. Think it's why the enjoyed the league 1 and 2 play off games as well. Anyway, would rather Palace win as it's just something different and City don't need or deserve another trophy, but I certainly wouldn't be pissed off if City do win, never really minded them as a club and though they've got lost in all the tourist rubbish since the moneh came rolling, they do have some proper core fans that do have stuff in common with us.
