Waste of time this second half since we came out, proper standard. Game over
-
Aye but the Brighton game was only a couple weeks ago and we knew what fixtures laid ahead in terms of points we would need, going back further you just don't know. By taking that point we essentially relied on other teams to drop points, which hasn't happened so we're now in the situation we're in.
-
The Brighton game is what's caused all these nerves and us potentially missing out. Everyone at the time saying what a great point it was, it wasn't at all as they were shite, we should have beat them but we were terrible as well. We had the chance there and then, but because we didn't we leave tough games and there's always the chance of an injury etc, we need 3 points now rather than 1, probably without Isak as well as Joelinton for those games. It's criminal how weak we are with a couple injuries, all going to come down to next week now, going to be a horrifically nervy week.
-
Be interesting to see the sky picks for next week, think they usually have two games and TNT one? Potentially a situation where Forest, Chelsea, Villa, Man City and us all realistically could finish between 3rd and 7th, hopefully all 4 make TV.
-
Must admit, much easier to watch those scenes now that we've won a trophy too, used to break my heart seeing fans like Palaces celebrating and wishing it was us. Now we've done it and know what it's like it's nice to see fans having their moment of unbridled joy.

All this hype for Goodison tomorrow is proper odd now like with it not being knocked down and still used. Like, i know Everton won't be playing there anymore themselves, but the ground isn't being knocked down, it'll still be as it is and the women will play there every other week. So you'll still see it every day, you'll still be able to go to a game there if you want etc etc. It's proper weird how they're carrying on now, can understand it if the ground was getting knocked down but it's not.

Looks like Wright and Lescott have just won the ryder cup

Nice to have a big match to watch where I'm not too fussed about the outcome. It's proper stressful between watching us and then hate watching the other sides, and we've still got tomorrow, Wednesday night, next Saturday and next Sunday to come so this is a bit of buffer. Think it's why the enjoyed the league 1 and 2 play off games as well. Anyway, would rather Palace win as it's just something different and City don't need or deserve another trophy, but I certainly wouldn't be pissed off if City do win, never really minded them as a club and though they've got lost in all the tourist rubbish since the moneh came rolling, they do have some proper core fans that do have stuff in common with us.

UltraHD channels on Sky are on crack like, nearly giving me a fit with the flashing lights, sound keeps cutting out as well, bloody awful
-
It's the goal difference I'm worried about, both sides could take an absolute hammering tonight quite easily, at the minute one win is enough for us, but not if both these end up scoring 6 and say we lose 2 nil on Sunday or something. Catastrophising I know and maybe not realistic but it's crossing my mind. That's more with Chelsea than Villa, one win finishes us above Villa as they're not overturning a 16 goal difference, but it's another wrinkle if we do drop points in both last two games.

South Park cripple fight vibes this
-
All this guaranteed 6 points is nonsense like and exactly why I don't want them up. It's not guaranteed at all and anything could happen - Luton beat us last season, Ipswich beat chelsea this season, Southampton drew with City etc there's a chance, and us not beating them would be horrible.
-
That's the Man Utd comeback v Lyon moment that means they're winning it/coming up. Coventry better team all game and somehow that happens typical. You just never know if they come up too, it's easy to say they'll go straight back down, I know it happened this season but it's not a guarantee, couple of signings and who knows, that's why I hate the thought of them coming up, them staying up would be horrific.
-
Signs of life from Coventry here
-
Three really biased commentators too, proper Mackem love in this annoyingly
-
Coventry are really poor, Lampard has done an amazing job getting them this far, Mackems aren't much better but they are better. All hope rests on Sheffield United
-
One of my favourite ever memories for us that. Was 13, remember being absolutely buzzing watching it and going in to school the next morning, full of Man Utd and Liverpool fans, just being so proud of my club. Felt so good that night. Then we beat Leeds a few days later, peak of Robsons era that.
-
Should be enough to just need to beat Everton now so today puts us in a really good position. Other results the last couple weeks have meant unforuantely today's win doesn't guarantee anything, but I'm still buzzing with it...just not letting myself go completely yet as last two games are still really tough and we're going to need 3 points.
-
Game completely changed on the red card....made them better and us worse somehow.
-
Whos their Nunez? Feels like that Liverpool game all day long here in this half, definitely going to need a second,.equaliser is coming
-
Need to be careful here, Chelsea been better side since the red, seems to have fired them up and gave them some confidence
-
Aye they'll take the draw as will be banking on us dropping points at Arsenal. Think they'll be going for the win but it'll definitely tell if it's tight late on and they start to settle
-
Way things are going Chelsea and Forest will end up winning on the last day somehow
-
Stevie Wonder could see he was offside, awful decision from both of them.
-
Most blatant offisde ever not given in the Orient/Stockport game and its a goal for Orient. Miles off, shocking decision.
