Have you not followed us since Howe came in? There's so many examples of where he says stuff like the above, only for it to turn out they're properly injured and out for weeks/months. Happened similar with Isak last season. Would be totally inkeeping with the last couple seasons, and the signs have been there the last few weeks.

Wouldn't be surprised, regardless of if he is going to be out, he clearly isn't fully fit so there's an issue there.

Nah that's not that bad. Just the normal emotion any of us would feel after a late draw against our rivals. He's said that in the heat of the moment, completely understand it. These managers aren't robots, loads of us would react like that with stakes so high. Rightly sent off obv, but it's nothing really.

All comes down to how fit Isak is to how much of a chance we have now, even moreso with Hall, Botman and Gordon out. Even if he was fully fit (he isnt) our chances wouldn't be good, but the fact he keeps having all these niggly injuries and can't seem to play a full 90 minutes, means he's deffo going into this game not at full power. It's bloody typical, wish therr wasn't such a gap between Semis and final, we looked in good shape after that second leg.

About the same chance now I'd say

Its not just Gordon being out, it's we've such a paper thin squad that any player going out reduces our chances massively. Its Liverpool, we need to be our absolute best and will need the bench. Gordon being out now means it's Barnes or bust. Couple that with us clearly being out of form, Liverpool already sewn up the league and always finding a way to win, we've got little to no chance.

Barnes - Isak - Murphy isn't the worst front 3 mind for the final, but still you'd much rather have all players fit. If Isak is injured then we may as well not bother, leads me to think he is that he goes off now with ET pending.

Off topic but come on man, edit that last part out. I know its already been on but thats a Bit of a massive spoiler to drop in a random football thread for some, like me, who were planning on watching that later today at a sensible hour.

I might sound crazy, as this is only the 5th Round and we're in the final of the Carabao, but I genuinely think we have a better chance of winning this cup than the Carabao! Which makes this a huge game, beat these, anyone at home or even Preston away in the next round and I'll be confident of two more Wembley trips!

Great results for us last night in the main - at worst we'll only be 3 points off 4th after tonight's fixtures. 2pts off 5th. Get a result here and we're in a great position, but we still are with a defeat. Hopefully means we csn play with a bit of freedom. We know what will happen mind, it'll either be a resounding 3 nil loss, or we'll play amazing and lose by a single goal in controversial circumstances. No in between at this place.

I know it's no consolation, and we haven't interacted before, but not to sound weird I was thinking of you and rooting for you to get one. All I would say to everyone disappointed, and not trying to just prolonged the agony but don't forget if someone doesn't select their seat for whatever reason, another supporter will be contacted. Also, last time, up until like a few days before the final, the box office were contacting people offering them a ticket if they were still looking for whatever reason. Plus- we're going back to Wembley twice in the FA Cup so there's 2 chances there too...
